Barnes & Noble is a gigantic place where you could get lost for hours, a rare gem that makes book lovers relieved the physical store still exists. It is a stunning, clean, spacious, and well-organized store with a huge selection in every category, including the largest poetry section some have seen and a well-stocked children’s area with a nice Harry Potter section. There is also a decent amount of clearance items. The staff are wonderfully helpful and great, often providing surprises and great recommendations. It is everything you need in one spot and perfect for spending a cold and rainy day marveling at books. However, the store is not perfect and has its flaws. The cafe in this location has closed, and it is a shame the space is not used for more seating. Additionally, the bathroom situation is outdated and disgusting, which is a shame given how beautiful the store looks. The store is located in the Cortlandt Town Center with its own parking area. While prices are what they are and the layout is familiar to frequent visitors, it remains a nice location to hold and browse books, and many plan to return.
Great staff, very helpful. The only thing that I miss here is the cafe. I used to spend a lot more money there than I do now. Please bring back the cafe

Very helpful and kind workers. The store is always neat and clean too. I wish they had more adult lgbtq+ romance books (Haley Cass, etc.) but they don't sell like Colleen Hoover's books so I understand. Thank you all for your help.

If you're a book lover, then this is an oasis in the middle of the shopping chaos. Lots of books, fictional, biographies, educational you name it, it's here. Friendly customer service associates and a calm atmosphere.
