Verified they had equipment2.Verified priceTook 40 minute drive.Left with alternative equipmentSpent 2/3 more than what was listed for a substandard piece if equipment.Won't make that mistake again.

1.- I purchased a $850 laptop 3 months ago (not working anymore).2.- I purchased security cámaras for about $600 5 months ago (not working anymore)I got “Geek squad protection” for both products and now, I came to the store spoke with the manager, she asked me to wait… standing for more than 1 hours waiting for them to her for an answer, she didn’t even care.Conclusion:Geek squad and Best Buy don’t care about customers.

This review is mostly about the Geek Squad subsidiary. Firstly, there’re really 2 Geek Squads: Real Geek Squad and Fraudster Geek Squad. Both of them are affiliated with each other. My question was and is: How come Fraudster Geek Squad knows Real Geek Squad’s schedules with its customers and the names of the visiting technicians? Real or Fraudster Geeks kept changing the appointments a few times and Fraudster Geek Squad rang me to demand a prepay of $200 via a Target Gift Card before the technician would come over? At that point, I knew what was going on and thought okay, let’s give them enough rope. I left my cell in the car and went into Target and bought it knowing that I would give it to my child, alerted Target’s manager and requested that they ring 911. Target didn’t want to get involved, so put them on your radar. Returned to my car and Fraudster Geek Squad was still on the line and he requested the number of the gift card, which I refused to give and told him that they were fraudsters. I thought for sure that they knew that I knew, but alas. Our no-good police force, The New Castle Police Department in New York, were absolutely disinterested in this matter. The police force are really stupid and indifferent to crime. Sure enough the technician arrived at the appointed time that both Real and Fraudster Geek Squad knew about. I rang the police, who grudgingly came and thought that it was just a big nothing. Back when I worked in Finance at a high end retailer I had to deal with our Security Department daily as well as all of our insurance brokers and even met with one them and the underwriters when I went to London on holiday. With my experience, I should be speaking with trained detectives and not one dimensional thinking uniforms.After I returned home from Target, I googled “Geek Squad and Fraudster” and what popped up was the FTC site discussing the very same experience that I had just experienced with Fraudster Geek Squad. I also discovered bad issues with Best Buy and their shady practices. My conclusions: never do business with Geek Squad, Best Buy and never move to Chappaqua full of dreadful residents, a faltering and greedy School District and an ignorant and stupid Police Department. Also, Target gets what it deserves when we watch the news about their shoplifting and assortments of scandals.

Customer service here is terrible. Waited at checkout for 20 minutes because management couldn’t help the lone employee working the desk by herself.

I will say that I have had variable experiences depending on which Bestbuy that I go to. With that said, I have noticed that this particular Bestbuy has some of the best management and customer service that I have experienced. Kenny, the manager there has been, hands down the most attentive to my concerns of any manager I have had the opportunity to interact with. He has corrected every single issue I have experienced with damaged product delivery. Even complicated appliance installation troubles were promptly resolved. Because GOOD customer service is so hard to come by, especially by management handling a concern, I will always choose this location over any others. Highly recommend shopping here.

AVOID this location at ALL costs. This place actively tries to lose your business. There's only ever ONE cashier even at Christmas shopping time. Lots of managers standing off to the side staring at the giant line of customers. Why does the company let this location rot?

Went during the week to buy a new case for my phone. The sales woman was super helpful and friendly and I had my case in no time. Trying to check out was another story, only two cashier's at the geek counter open and waited for over 15 minutes.

Have not been to a Best Buy in years, but recently stopped here to buy a soundbar for one of my TVs. Loved the different demo displays and options they offered. The staff was friendly & helpful.
