Pharmacy takes a long time to even acknowledge your presence let alone actually helping you.

The head pharmacist called my doctor and demanded an explanation for the change in dosage of a medication that I have been prescribed on and off for over twenty years, at various titrations, for panic attacks. He demanded to know the reasoning for the dosage fluctuation, which of course my doctor refused as such detailed disclosures are illegal. He then asked the doctor if the higher dosage was prescribed on account of a desire on my part to avoid seeing him on a monthly basis. Both doctor and I found the behavior disturbing and bizarre. Called the store manager who initially said that his (the store manager’s) name was confidential but he eventually gave it to me (“Pablo”) so I can use it as part of my complaint to CVS corporate and the NY Sate licensing board. However, Pablo refused to give me the name of the pharmacist so that I could include it in the complaints and was rude throughout the conversation.
Please read the abundance of negative reviews about the pharmacy staff at this location. The lead pharmacist seems to be mentally ill and should be removed from the post. Needless to say, I will never use CVS as my pharmacy again.

Geez to talk to someone especially in the pharmacy is an ordeal. I had to leave a message. After pressing many buttons to just get to it. Horrible. Plus there was a hold up on my prescription that I needed. Well looks like I’ll be using someone else to get my prescriptions.

NO ONE WANTS TO LEAVE A MESSAGE TO BE CALLED BACK. I WANT TO TALK TO A REAL LIVE PERSON NOT YOUR USELESS ROBOT THAT ONLY EVER WANTS ME TO LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. I DO. NOT. WANT. TO. LEAVE. A. VOICEMAIL. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

This pharmacy is an absolute disgrace. The staff are shockingly disrespectful and seem to have no concept of professionalism. During my visit, I was treated with utter contempt and condescension. The pharmacist acted like they couldn’t care less about my health concerns and seemed more interested in chatting with their colleagues than assisting me.
Furthermore, this place operates with a blatant disregard for ethics and morals. I overheard a conversation where the staff openly discussed private patient information, completely violating confidentiality. It’s clear they have no respect for their customers’ privacy.
To top it all off, the store is dirty and disorganized. Prescriptions are frequently filled incorrectly, leading to dangerous mistakes. It’s terrifying to think that such an unprofessional and unethical place is entrusted with people’s health. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs if you value your well-being and dignity.

Their hours constantly change. It's not accurate for what's online so it's a complete gamble. Whenever you show up, who knows when they're going to be open or closing. And as I was pulling away at 10:07 for a place that was supposed to close at 11:00 I saw two families pull up and get turned away. I sure hope they didn't drive far to come to the store which closed unexpectedly

They are the rudest amongst the stores. Pharmacy personnel are
disrespectful, not courteous and cut you short when you’re talking. I’ll give my business elsewhere where I am valued.

The instructions for vax were: just walk in, no reserving. But when I did that (at a very unbusy time) I was told (not very nicely): no walk-ins, one has to leave the store and reserve on line.
I went to nearby Acme and was taken care of immediatdly

As of January 11th this year, I went to this pharmacy just to simply receive my prescription. However, both the woman and this older man behind the counter were giving my mother and I the run around about which insurance will cover the prescription, whether it be with my primary or, secondary insurance. Mind you, I have encountered another situation with this pharmacy where they told me, that I had to pay $1,000 some out of pocket for this certain medication...To be brief, these people and/or the health insurance companies just enjoy confusing the Hell out of their clients and just don't provide the clear and concise information we need to know about. My mother and I ended up finding out, that it is actually my primary, that was supposed to cover, along with the secondary and that I finally just had to pay $4.60 for my prescription. Can you believe all of this was over the reason this pharmacy doesn't accept bridge prescriptions and will only accept the full quantity of my medication? Moreover, just yesterday when I contacted them, the same woman, (I believe) tells me they don't want to provide my prescription just because it is a "controlled substance" and/or it is "too soon" for them to provide me it. It is honestly confusing/misleading, that the staff who work there don't explain to you in detail what the situation is when it comes to receiving your prescription...This is one of the reasons why I will be transitioning locations by March...

I have noticed that CVS has a policy in place to contact patients' insurance companies regarding prescription refill issues. However, I feel disappointed as it seems that this particular CVS store does not prioritize ensuring patients' access to their medications or actively collaborate with insurance providers to resolve refill-related issues, such as coverage restrictions or prior authorization requirements. This lack of effort from the store reflects poorly on the company's overall commitment to patient care, starting from the top at their headquarters. I believe it is essential for CVS to improve their approach, showing more empathy and humility when interacting with patients dealing with illness or disability.
