“Great experience at this Walmart Auto Center.

Was looking for some tires and Walmart, as expected, offers some great prices with minimal (about $18 per tire) installation/mounting costs. Despite reading some bad reviews for almost every Walmart Auto Center in the area I decided to give it a try.

I found my tire size (vehicle search) and researched the various options (even on other websites) before deciding on the set I wanted. After choosing the tires, I scheduled my installation appointment. I saw that the appointments were ONLY available about 10 days later...so this may be an issue if you are looking to have tires installed sooner than that.

I arrived at around 9:45am for my 10am weekday appointment. I was greeted by a friendly staff member who checked me in. He did explain that they had to check whether the service manager was okay installing two (front) tires on my 4WD vehicle...after a few minutes he advised that it would be okay. But you may want to call to ask ahead if this applies to you.

I left the service desk after checking in at around 10am and while shopping around the store, I received a text message at 10:30am saying they were done! After reading other reviews...I was expecting a few hours...but 30 minutes! Despite only being two tires...I thought that was very good time.

After checking out with the service desk, my car was waiting for me on the other side of the garage...lug nuts tightened to spec. and all.

Fingers crossed but the tires have been good so far in the first 100 or so miles...I was more than happy with my experience at this Walmart location.”

“Needed a tow because of a flat tire. Dispatcher Mike went above and beyond to get me taken care of despite a staffing emergency on their part. Props to him and to the worker who showed up on their day off to help me!”
