“Walking into Grapevine Fine Wines & Spirits is mamash like entering a sugya you didn’t realize was this deep. You think you’re just coming to grab “a bottle,” and suddenly you’re standing there like, “Nu… which one is the right mahalach here?”
First of all, the place is clean, spacious, and set up with seichel. Not one of those cramped spots where you’re bumping carts every two seconds. Here you can actually browse like a mentch and take your time pretending you understand the difference between all the options.
The selection? Let’s just say if you don’t find what you need here, it’s not the store — it’s you. Rows and rows, from basics to the fancy stuff that makes you feel like you should be wearing a shtreimel just to pick it up.
The staff really makes the place though. You can walk in clueless, ask one question, and suddenly you’re getting a whole breakdown like a mini shiur — but in a good way. Clear, helpful, and no pressure. They’ll guide you without making you feel like you need to take notes.
And somehow, no matter what you planned to spend, you always walk out a little over. Not because of pressure — just because everything looks so geshmak you convince yourself it’s “for a simcha” even if it’s just a regular weeknight.
Bottom line:
Beautiful store, massive selection, and staff that actually knows their stuff. You come in for one bottle and leave feeling like you just graduated a crash course in “how to choose properly” — with a couple extra bottles for backup, just in case.”

“I was in Nanuet for the weekend on business. I found this lovely place that had the wine I prefer. The man who helped me was super nice. I didn't expect to go back to the store but I did and when I went in there the man had put the wine I like in the fridge to get cold not knowing I would be back. That made me feel good. And the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend a stop in if you're ever in that area
