“Suffern is a lucky town to host such a dedicated chef to his craft. Just stopped by today for our first time of many more to come. Sampled many items and can’t wait to return for many more. Looking forward to seeing you guys again soon.”
“Spring Valley Supermarket offers a great shopping experience. The variety of fresh, high-quality products is impressive, and I always find what I need. Additionally, the staff is very friendly and attentive, which makes shopping much more enjoyable.”
“DeCicco's' has the best deli in the area, Hands down. The selection of salads is wonderful as are the cold cuts and prepared foods. Even when it is busy, the staff is attentive and never aggravated or lazy. They keep moving looking to help the customer.
The fish department is also wonderful, and they have a nice selection of quality fish.
Produce selection is always superb and well stocked.
Meat selection is great and they carry Bell and Evans chicken which is a superior product.
They carry a nice selection of Italian specialties that the other area stores never even consider.
The bakery selections are excellent as well great pastries, cookies, cakes and breads.
And finally, the culture and work ethic of the employees is astonishing compared to just about every other establishment you visit. Friendly, engaging and genuinely looking to help and please.
I will pay a little extra for all they have to offer me and what I look for. They cater to a more discriminating shopper and that is not a bad way to be for the quality and experience they provide.”

“Excellent kosher grocery store with a wide variety of products at competitive prices. The store is well organized, the staff is helpful, and it’s easy to find what you need. A reliable go-to for kosher shopping.”
“This has a big variety of Hispanic foods. Very easy to get in and out. They have a hot deli but I've never used it. Nice produce! The ice cream freezers have sometimes had a problem of freezer burn or melting and refreezing. Check your products. My ice cream sandwiches were quite obviously thawed and refrozen. Surprisingly a lot of products for a small store. Always clean and well-stocked. Good prices.”

“I'm glad the area got an Aldi. It's true they don't have everything, but they have all your grocery essentials, you can't beat their prices, and there are some items where I prefer the Aldi brand, (hummus, Italian bread, organic spring mix, etc) You need a quarter for a cart (returned when you return the cart).”

“Store is awesome. Almost all of their store brands are excellent. (My favorite is their Port Wine Cheese and their club crackers).
In general, better pricing than most stores. (Though the difference is not as much as they used to be. For example the chocolate chips used to be at least a dollar cheaper than ShopRites brand. Now it’s only about 25¢. The chocolate chips are VERY good!!! )”
“tried the tanghulu and it was such a nice sweet treat. the fruit was fresh and the candy coating had that satisfying crunch when you bite into it. simple but really good, i ended up finishing it way faster than i expected.”
“A plethora of fresh fruits and veggies along with hot food options. I love that they carry unique produce that you may only find in households that for example, predominantly cook Indian or Dominican food. They also have a ton of unique sauces and spices that you will not find at your average grocery store. Most of the employees are Spanish-speaking so I find it a little tricky to communicate, but they are extremely kind and always try to work it out.”
“Only 4 stars coz the hours are impossible. Open late and close early. Need 2 hrs expansion on both ends. Great prices on many quality items not found elsewhere on the region”

“This is one of the best Stop& Shop locations that I've been to. It's huge and a big variety of all kinds of foods and goods. I wish there was one closer to me like this”
“Just got back from our first shopping trip and we were very impressed! The layout and the aesthetics were really new and modern and at check out they were really nice and helped pack up the bags. We loved the prepared foods section, hot bar, fresh made soups, wide variety of products and my favorite was the meat section specifically the Bell & Evan products which is super good quality! Overall the pricing I thought was reasonable and fair overall for a smaller market. It’s night and day from what was there before and given all the great things we experienced today I think this store will be a part of our community for years to come. Great job Food Emporium! ?”
“Been looking for Ak100 drink that I love. And it seems to be the only place that sells it on & off. Well yesterday on the beautiful Easter Sunday they had it while doing last minute shopping and I’m extremely happy. Will highly recommend key foods just for this :)”
“I want to recognize a Cashier name Brian! He was the most friendless, polite and most of all talked to me! Like now a days; cashiers don't even notice you (no eye contact ), communicate with you and most of them always on their phones! So I hope more cashiers learn from him to give GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! What a great employee!”
“This compact store is pretty clean with large variety of produce and ethnic products. The produce I saw seemed fresh. The fresh fish in the back was well iced. Some prices are a little high but as expected for this type of store. Cashiers were efficient.I did not appreciate a worker in tbe aisle who was very reluctant to respond when I asked if they had frozen Pigeon Peas. I asked 3 times before he mumbled "ran out". A few minutes later I found a freezer case in front of the store filled with them! Thankfully not every worker is rude... I asked a guy behind the fish counter for Ackee. He very clearly and politely told me exactly where to find it.One star deducted for the rude worker. Otherwise I recommend this mini market.”
“this stop and shop is next to shop rite which make is easy for us to go and pick and chose what to buy and compare prices. as always they carry lot of items at very good prices. very nice clean and organized store. no long lines as they have many check out counters and self service as well.”
“I stopped by Kings in Midland Park to pick up Mother's Day flowers for my mom, and they really delivered. The selection was excellent. The flowers are incredibly vibrant, fresh, and arranged beautifully. It’s often hard to find high-quality, full blooms during the holiday rush, but these look fantastic and she absolutely loved them. If you need a reliable spot for floral arrangements in the area, this is definitely it!”
“Best begging egg and cheese coffee is perfect too love that lady there very patient and kind need more people like her definitely come here if you’re hungry frr💯♥”
“Do people at this Stop & Shop try especially hard. Prices are reasonable and they do have good sales. The vegetable and produce areas in the meat areas are well stocked and they do try very hard to have a good selection at all. Michael B at the register kept things moving and suggested a couple items that were on sale that I should consider since I was buying something similar”
“Full and fair disclosure: This review applies to the two Kings locations I went to (Cresskil and Hillsdale), so I will be posting the same review for both (for anyone who catches the fact that I copypasta'd).I normally shop at another grocery chain than Kings. However, I was given a $100 gift card for them. Catch me turning down free money, right?? So I went to Kings with an open mind - I'd never been in one meaningfully before this. I'd been BY them, but not in them.I'm on the fence about the stars. If I had gone here and paid using my own money, it would be 3 stars ('It's okay'). However, I was shopping with free money, so yeah, 4 stars ('I liked it'). Just know that I won't be back using my own money. The layout seemed unusual to me, but no deduction for that. After all, I'm used to a different chain entirely. The stores were clean, and the selection was reasonable. I say reasonable because even at my favored chain, there are still what I perceive to be supply chain issues. Same thing here: Some empty spots where items should be, here and there, around the store. Nowhere near the panic-buying pandemic level that every place had a few years back though. The main issue I have, the issue where 1 or 2 stars are deducted, is price. I looked at some staple items I normally buy to see how they measured up price-wise. Everything was more expensive! Plus, certain things (canned chunk light tuna springs to mind) were double in price, whether name brand or not. I'm comparing non-sales price to non-sales price here, mind you.Otherwise, I used the gift card, which almost covered the dozen eggs I bought - just a little joke. The eggs were definitely expensive, but this was at a time where eggs were expensive everywhere. I got a number of items I was running low on, like eggs, and toilet paper, and milk, etc etc. I wound up paying about 80 cents over the card, but I got restocked on some bigger ticket items that last over a longer time than, say, produce.I won't be back (why would I go there just to pay more money? I didn't see any benefit to going there other than the Hillsdale location being 1 mile away vs. the closest 'favored chain' store which is 2 miles away), but I will say, if you get a gift card for Kings market, it's definitely well worth using.”
“Like the variety of items for sale they have. You can find ethnic products from different countries. A lot of fruit and veggies plus a good selection of breads. They have a bakery on the premises.”

“I have never been there before first time ever and it was clean.. but when it came time to checking out I did not have a card and I asked the guy does he have one he goes no I said okay can I sign up for one he said yes but my savings won't come off today.. All supermarkets always has a a savings card on hand, but not this?won't be going back”
“Amazing store and company leaders. I had the pleasure of working with well over 60 of them. The executive team cares deeply about their associates. The managers I've had the pleasure of working with have heart and commitment. I've worked with many companies, but they lead and listen to their customers, putting them first. They give back to the community and local businesses in such a great way. Generosity by the family and leaders is obvious.”
“Love this place. Reminds me of the supermarkets my dad used to take me to as a kid. Old school butcher shop where they cut your meats according to your preference. People are friendly cashiers are nice. And help is always there when you ask. Wide variety of products from many countries. Excellent prices for fruits and vegetables. Fresh seafood. Tons of options for rice. What could you like about this supermarket.”
“Open 24 hours a day from Sunday through Erev Shabbos (closing 30 minutes before the zman). This is the most convenient grocery in Monsey! You can easily be in and out in less than 5 minutes.”
