In my first year filing taxes independently, I trusted my parent's preparer to make things quick and easy. This experience was anything but that. I understand that many people are filing but to not receive documents to sign until a month later when things were completed weeks prior is unacceptable. Then not receiving my refund check only to find out that my address was input incorrectly is very disheartening. From a business that I heard nothing but good things about and at such an affordable rate, I expected better.

Listen, normally i hate posting negative reviews but this guy, this guy is something else. Sent him my paper work TWO months ago with the understanding he does great work but he will take a while. I understood, didn’t bother him for the first MONTH.After that the calls started.1. Called to check up, was told the paper work was started, will receive a follow up call in a week.Strange but ok.2. A month and a week. NOTHING. Call back only to wait a day to get a ring from “The Tax Man” himself.went over all the information while forcing myself to laugh at him corny jokes. Ended the call with the understanding we would finally be paying and he’d send off our info.3. A month and two and a half weeks later, after being told they’re done just need to be filled we continue to call. ignored for till the 8th week mark.Apparently paying customers checking up are too much for hii i s brain to handle and we were told to find someone else on a friday.4. Little did he know we were calling to let him know we found someone else. Hdd ed had to go threw a third party to let us know. couldn’t bare to answer our call and inform us himself.5. That following monday our information was sent out and paid for 8pm.0 out of 5. wouldn’t recommend.Why would you wait 2 months when you can get it done in a day.Rude and very unprofessional

I hate giving bad reviews but this guy deserves it.If your looking for a good accountant that knows what he is talking about he isn't your guy.I went to deliver my w2 in his mail box and he asked that I call him to let him know that my papers were there, so I called him twice in a row, and he came running to my car and yelled at me for five minutes. He called later to apologize so I let it go,I emailed him multiple times and he doesn't respond for weeks and when I follow up with him he gets upset this guy is crazy.

Mr. Goldring has been preparing my taxes for years. I don't even live in NY anymore, but send my paperwork to him because I would be giving up accuracy, a fair price, and timeliness. His tax packet is like clockwork every year and his turn-around time during the busy season is impressive. Don't hesitate to use his services!
