AMAZING views and great trails that are well marked. The signs told the background on the park and how the dunes actually move location from the winds. Fascinating! There wasn't a parking lot for cars, but there was enough room for our 2 vehicles and turn around space to head back home.

I've never been here in summertime, but the fall is quiet and lovely. Bathroom facilities are clean and the campsites are small but how can you beat the location?

Large level camping plots with some scrub brush scattered about. Expect to get to know your neighbors . The beach is a 3-5 minute walk away. Restrooms are what you'd expect from a campground, they are kept clean.

Great place for families and especially young kids to make the most out of summer. It can be very loud at night but the park rangers do their best to keep rowdy crowds at bay. In addition to a wonderful location on the beach there are daily crafts and softball games. If you bring kids, bikes are a must

For ocean lovers it is a great place to set up a tent, get a sleeping back and just to enjoy and relax. A real treasure for those who understand simplicity and can understand beauty without demand for luxury and commodities of the modern world. Noted to mention a very nice gift shop right insidePlayground: Offers swings, slides, monkey barsRestrooms: CleanPicnic area: Plenty. The park is very well maintained

Fun day trip. This place also had the restrooms and shower facilities that I've ever seen at a beach.

Love this park and the beach here. 1 security guard ruins it every year. Bothered us more then we want to be when on vacation. I got a "Faliure to comply " paper on my windshield... amd he Knocked on camper door at 10 pm amd 5 am to near by campers to tell them no generators at that time.. the rest of security is great..Playground: Nice playground for all size kidsRestrooms: Very nice.. ea h bath house is a little diferent... east house is nicestPicnic area: Best veiw of the ocean

Not so far from Hamptons and Montauk. We need more phone chargers. Toilets and showers are ok. And the most beautiful part of it - the ocean ?. No dogs allowed.

The perfect camping beachside experience in Long Island. Extremely large campsites, beautiful beach, camp general store with hot food and the newer bathrooms (on one side of campground) are clean, spacious, and the best campsite bathrooms I’ve ever seen! The only negative was the check in process which was a little disorganized with people leaving their campers on the road and walking to the office to sign in, so be prepared. This was early in the season and I imaging it gets worse. Check in was three and they didn’t let people check in before 2:45.

It's a nice beach campground, with access to a beautiful beach and a clean campground. The million dollar question is how we were able to book during busy season in summer? You need to try exactly 9 months in advance, either Friday or Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m., and try to hit the bottom. We did for many weeks in a row and finally we won the jackpot, I'm still amazed how we were lucky to get a week in July, but I guess the only way is just to try and try and try.Seems you can try your chance by just walking in. That's happening when people reserve and don't show up. I was there in last September and June (less hassle for booking), and we are going back in July... kids love this camp and are always looking to go back. The only downside of this camp is that you can't make fire during the busy season.Restrooms: Well maintained, many bathrooms and showes available, one building has brand new bathroom and showers for both male/femaleDog-friendliness: I saw many ppl with their dogs ، so much به نوع issue

Each night falling asleep to the waves breaking 200 ft from us was fantastic. Restrooms were super clean and had hot water. Staff was great. My family has been coming here for four generations now.

Quite an awesome natural preserve area, with unique "features" and so many options to offer to everyone.Camping, surfing breaks, kitesurfing or wingfoiling around the bays, "mountain" biking, fishing, hiking cliffs, dunes, and pine groves (plus there are several 4x4 car beach access options). Explore remainders of past military installations or wonder about mother nature and its full force. This park can get pretty magical. Cool vibe, good energy.I'd just avoid main season though (from Memorial throughout Labor days) - it gets really overcrowded (and pricey).

Very friendly guard. Passing by and walked around and enjoyed a lot to see the people with family, friends, in the great nature by the beautiful ocean. Wonderful camping place.
