Highly recommend during the week.Rooms: Very boutiquey rooms. Lots of positives ..nOnly 1 drawback: there wasnt any plastic garbage bags in the room garbage cans and we didnt want to throw food in thereFood & drinks: Flavoured water available”

“Location couldn’t be better. Just a block walking from the beach and right in downtown Montauk. This boutique hotel I have been staying at the past 2 years and absolutely love it. The rooms are always clean and the parachute sheets add just a special touch that makes the bed so cozy to sleep in on summer and winter nights. The staff is incredibly kind, attentive and knowledgeable. The restaurant across the street also serves the best breakfast. I will always stay at Daunts.”

“We came mid-week in October. An oceanfront was appx $260 night. The grounds are immaculate, and the heated pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable. The room was comfortable and had a beautiful sunrise view. The shower was small but functional.Walkability: Just 2 blocks to main circle.”

“We went there for our Anniversary celebration. It was off season which was not an issue. Our unit faced the ocean and falling asleep to the sounds of waves reaching the shore was peaceful and tranquil. We had wonderful walks by the ocean daily and no issue finding places to eat. Our time there was wonderful! We saw both sunsets and sunrise…”

“We are still here for a few days... This place is very nice and peaceful in the off season.Efficiency apartments are great because most of the restaurants and food houses are still Closed till May! So, the efficiency is good! Shop at the IGA and prepare your own here!Walkability: Near the center of town, easy to walk anywhere you need.Food & drinks: Most places closed in the off season. Therefore you may only have the IGA market and the 7-Eleven to rely on.After May 15, Summer season, everyone is open for business.”

“Great spot for a little get away, came here for 2 nights for my girlfriend’s birthday and we enjoyed everything here. The pool was also a bonus. Its right across from the beach literally you walk across the street into a trail which is 2 min walk then you are right on the beach. Will definitely be coming back here to stay in the future next time i come back to montauk!!!”

“Great views! Make sure to get a unit on the 2nd floor for the best views. Units are owned and rented out so each are different. We liked having a kitchen, especially with kids around. It is not like a traditional hotel where housekeeping just comes in every day. The resort office texts you in the morning a housekeeping form with questions about specific needs, like do you need to replace towels? Linens? Whatever you ordered will be delivered in a bag and dropped off at your door. You put your dirty towels and trash outside your door for housekeeping to pick up.”

“The last time I went Gurneys, was probably over 12 years ago. It was a corporate weekend getaway and I thought it was the best event I had attended with the company based off location, amenities and the resort in general. One week ago, I returned with my wife and kids for more than just dinner. A actual weekend stay, kids included. The kids included was something we were really nervous about since we gave the Au pair off that weekend. I didn’t remember Gurneys as a place that would be kid friendly. It worked out perfectly, thanks to the temperament of the staff, the resort itself and the off season. The staff was amazing with the kids and the pool was awesome. The recommendations to entertain the kids were spot on. Hopefully, we can double back soon or this summer as a romantic getaway without the kids.”

“They have done a tremendous job activated the back of the property and pool area . It's visually stunning and the team have maximized the old Ronjo property . The Dj Adam is about the best DJ I have heard in the Hamptons . The drinks were great and the team welcoming . The crowd was sophisticated and hip . Probably not the place to do shots and bang beer cans off your forehead , Got to The point and stay there if that's your game .”
