MBH is my favorite spot to spend a few hours in the sun with great bites, beverages and service. The place is always clean and they have great music as well as retail and you can even get left hand coffee ? The hotel also sponsors art and music events so there’s usually something culturally interesting going on!

The hotel guests above our room were partying all night. We called the night service and not one hotel employee spoke to the rowdy guests. There were ants in our hotel room then when we complained, the guest services contact suggested we may get a discount for a future stay. We will never stay here again! - Adriana D.

When spending 1300 for a room per night, I expected more. Upon pulling up,on a Saturday there was no valet. We were told by the 2 guys outside “find parking”. As my husband grabbed the bag so I can check in while we went to park, the two guys outside didn’t offer to help me with my bag, or even open the door. The inside area was ok. The room itself was small and minimal. No fridge, no robes, no closet. The bathroom tiny. After dinner when we got back to the room, we walked to get ice cream, and figured we’d sit outside. We walked in the back, around 9pm, it was pretty dead, and the waitress came up, we thought to greet us but said no outside food. Literally there was no one using the couches. We walked to the front and sat outside. The positive was the closeness to town, but I would’ve in the future used one of the other hotels. Overall 3/5.

Couple of comments: after staying in several different hotels on Cape Cod and now Long Island, this is by far the best hotel. Expensive, but this seems to be the new normal. Clean rooms, quiet new AC unit (finally!), nicely furnished, clean sheets/towels (fresh smell!), daily maid service, nice pool area. Close to very lovely Montauk beach, 3min walk. You can easily combine pool/beach! Pool food excellent! On the somewhat negative side: again, pricey! Somewhat strange pool hours (11 AM to 6 PM), no breakfast on weekdays, kitchen closes at 5 PM, pool drink menu somewhat odd and very expensive. And the hotel sells the pool area during the day to ‚non-guests‘. Guests pay north of 600 USD and do not get the benefit of restricted access to the hotel pool….

They have done a tremendous job activated the back of the property and pool area . It's visually stunning and the team have maximized the old Ronjo property . The Dj Adam is about the best DJ I have heard in the Hamptons . The drinks were great and the team welcoming . The crowd was sophisticated and hip . Probably not the place to do shots and bang beer cans off your forehead , Got to The point and stay there if that's your game .

I have been spending summers out in Montauk since I was a little girl. Montauk is known to be a family friendly town. My husband, kids and I stayed at The Montauk Beach House last August. We had a nice experience so we booked again for the following summer, the stay we just recently checked out from. It was a very different experience than last summer. We checked in and I noticed immediately our air conditioning unit was not working properly. So I contacted the front desk and they sent the tech to check it out. He did nothing more than show us how to work the remote. By the 3rd night I had to make a complaint, which I am not very fond of doing, but we were sweating overnight, and luckily they were able to accommodate us to another room that had properly working air conditioning. The week started off with a lot of rain. So every morning we would go out for breakfast, because the hotel only has a small cafe in the lobby that offers coffee and pastries, and then come back to the hotel to sit in the outdoor covered lounge area, where I was told that my daughter could not eat her banana (in her stroller) because they do not allow outside food. Yet they have no fruit or yogurt to offer for breakfast and one item on the lunch menu to accommodate children…pizza. No outside food is allowed pretty much on the property other than eating inside your hotel room. During the day the children are not allowed to snack on anything other than what is offered on their beach restaurant menu. There were just so many days my children would tolerate pizza! And absolutely no pool toys allowed. The pool floats I understand for safety purposes, but no pool toys? There are two pools on site. One is adults only. And one had a sign dragged out front of it labeled “family pool.” The staff overall are pleasant. The maid, Patricia, is lovely. She remembered my family from last summer. Nikita, one of the poolside waitresses, also remembered us and was very accommodating while we were by the pool. Devin, another waiter, was also wonderful. Very friendly. But the manager, Yanni, is another story. There was live music one evening and I brought my kids down for the tail end of the music and we sat in the grass/sand lounge sofa area. My kids, 6 and 4, were CALMLY playing with the sand on the floor by our sofa. Yanni immediately stomped over and was completely disrespectful. “I can’t have this here.” I asked him “can’t have what?” “This. What they’re doing. I can’t have this here.” I said “I’m sorry, but I don’t understand what the issue is? They are quietly playing in the sand causing no disturbance to anyone.” He walked off. And I feel the need to share this because I will never return back to this hotel again. Which is a shame because we were looking forward to booking our stay again for next summer at the end of this last tripOverall, it feels like management are trying to change the vibe from ‘family friendly’ to ‘adult pool party’ but you can’t make that happen while hosting families. I would have preferred to be warned in advance that they did not want my kids there so we could spend our money elsewhere.

ehh not worth the money...redone older place with bare minimum ...we were told bar/ restaurant wasn't open because it was going to rain although it was an enclosed area...not impressed at all with place. In response to you being closed. I stayed there on 6/22 for 1 night. I was told by your front staff the outside wasn't open because it was going to rain.

we chose this resort despite high cost for the amenities at the end of June. the restaurant, pool, and bar were closed and there was no mention of this by staff at check in. also, the staff were inattentive and the room was not as quality as advertised on the site. the hotel was minimally occupied and we were denied a late check out.

We saw two bands play here at the festival. The space is disjointed so to speak. The flow betweeen seating, standing, eating and watching is uncomfortable. Yet, the staff is accommodating and the menu tasty good. Drinks were quality. Did not book here, walked through only.

I stayed at the Montauk beach house and September when the weather started turning. The rooms were comfortable and cozy. The restaurants offer us delicious food! Very diverse menu. The beach is a half a block!! This is a true winner! But most importantly the staff here is so sweet and helpful.Prices are very reasonable, especially since everything in this area is very expensive. I will definitely be back! Gloria

NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY HOTEL. Staff letting us know that baby was crying too loudly. They wouldn’t let my kids into the pool even though we purchased food and drinks with them…. Pool Manager was a rude and the hotel manager was too scared to confront us as we asked to speak with him (literally saw us, did a 180 and walked away). I believe his name was Yanni. I’m so upset with how this establishment is run now because the previous years, we would have never been treated like this. If you have kids or traveling with family, go to Sole East instead. We left this hotel immediately and checked in there. Hospitality was incredible there as we explained our situation. NEVER RETURNING HERE AGAIN. Overrated, rude staff, and really, just trash all around now. Sad how the pandemic really lowered standards of places and we just have to accept that.

I contracted Covid and alerted the hotel as soon as I had my doctor’s note. The staff refused to reimburse my reservation even if I alerted me a day prior my arrival. The staff very much unfazed by my health. One wonders…

Absolutely NOT!!!! Can I give a less than zero star? So sad to have a business operate this way in this day and age. I went there on a rainy Monday (place was empty) to buy coffee at their shop and also look at some of their art they have on display for purchase, as I'm currently redesigning my home. Welp, let's just say they lost a coffee, art, and lodging customer forever. The Manager mentioned he didn't like the fact I was there in the lobby with a blanket, ummmm just for your awareness Montauk has always been a beach community and it was a beach blanket. Anyway, the Manager rudely for no reason kicked me out because he felt I was in the hotel lobby too long. Reminder, I had purchased two cups of coffee AND was waiting for a friend to come by to give their opinion on a piece of artwork they had displayed for sale. But nope, the terribly rude and discriminatory Manager said that I must leave because I was in his empty lobby lounge for too long. He asked if I was staying at the hotel this evening, no, I wasn't, I own a home a few minutes away, however, I was enjoying a cup of coffee, considering purchasing a piece of art, and have stayed there several times in the past.... But I never will be again and I will never ever recommend this place. Bring back old school Ronjo!!! I was never really excited about this turning from Ronjo to this establishment, and now they gave me a real reason not to!!! Sad way to operate and do business. I've traveled all over the world, never experienced rudeness from any lodging establishment as this one, especially in a place where I live, work, entertain, etc. Get a clue MBH!!!

A great place for vegans! My review is specifically for the restaurant. I have always had a wonderful experience with service, specifically Ryan goes above and beyond with customer service. The guacamole is delicious and I appreciate that they have a lot of vegan and gluten-free options which is not very common in Montauk. I've read mixed reviews about the pizza but I always get the gluten-free vegan pizza and it's delicious.
