This post office is the worst, they don’t answer calls, packages get misdelivered or don’t get delivered at all and it’s not just me but I’ve spoken to friends that say the same thing about deliveries.

I have had the worst possible experience with this post office. On June 3rd i attempted to mail a check of significant value to Ohio from this post office. Chose priority 2-3 day shipping and the check was promptly stolen by someone who works there the next day. I filed a lost mail claim and the post office has refused to contact me regarding the claim. I've attached a picture of the tracking info indicating that the envelope never left Monticello. Please, learn from my situation and never ever use this post office

I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service at the Monticello Post Office. The staff are consistently rude and unhelpful, making every visit frustrating.
Additionally, the wait times are excessively long, even during off-peak hours. This inefficiency is unacceptable.
Immediate improvements in staff training and process efficiency are urgently needed.

Between the White Lake, Bethel and Monticello Post Offices I've had pretty good results. Considering the pathetic leadership at the federal level I'm surprised at how committed these workers still are to meeting our needs—even those irrational patrons who think each postal worker is personally responsible for the 'federal debt'.

Getting one letter from Scottsdale Arizona took like a month . It was in Monticello like 3 days like come on move faster . I wish i would get hired I’ll be cruising that mail car ? and hustling to get the mail boxes faster . Take so long and i always get the wrong mail too

Service is fine most of the year, but literally just had someone else's certified mail left in my mailbox. They marked it as being left with an individual and it was a packet of documents from the state, so they were clearly important. Not okay.

Collette helped me in multiple ways while trying to get my passport she was very professional friendly and overall she deserves a raise.

After having many packages”out for delivery” and then being changed to attempted, mail box inaccessible etc and having them NEVER answer the phone I finally reported these issues to Consumer Affairs and urge you to do so also. 1-914–697-7000. Inexcusable
