“I noticed air was leaking in my tire pretty fast. It was a Sunday and luckily I was close to this Mavis. I had a huge hole that could not be plugged. When I walked in it was pretty busy and after explaining i live 45minutes away the manager Dex assured me he would take care of me before he left - even though they were about to close. They had 4 different style tires i could pick from in stock, which is not usually the case. I appreciate the great customer service and him going above and beyond to get us taken care of and safely on our way.I would highly recommend this Mavis for their customer service, multiple options available, as well as quality of work.”

“I've driven by this garage several times over the years. (they are across from the post office and Anna's bakery)I had bought my car to replace the windshield wiper motor -at another garage in new city. Long story short. They were very unsatisfactory. So I came into the office and talked to BlakeI dropped the car off. They called and told me what it needed . Turns out the other shop really manhandled and butchered the wires and plug from the wiper motor. That's why it kept turning off and overheating. It also sounded like a meat grinder. So they put in a new motor and it sounds perfectly quiet the way it should be. They also fixed the wipers and put them back in the park position. Danny Blake and Chris were great. I definitely recommend bringing your car here. The shop is small but they do a great job”

“I downloaded yelp just so I can positively review this place. The guys here are super knowledgeable and treat your car as if it were their own. It took them 2 seconds to diagnose something that other local mechanics couldn't figure out. I went in for an a.c. Condenser and they actually told me to go to Honda because it was covered under warranty instead of unnecessarily charging me. This saved me a ton of money! Needed to find an outside mechanic and I'm so glad I found Duke of Oil. He explained everything step by step didn't push what wasn't needed. And now he's keeping my son's 05 running and safe , I've also brought my 12 X3 and recommended my sister with her 19 Audi for tires, great price on the tires. Very satisfied with all the repairs.”
“Imagine leaving work to head home in slacks & shirt around sundown on an overcast, rainy day, to find as you are pulling out the parking lot your rear passenger tire is so low that you are scared to go beyond 30-mph on a 50-mph road. Also imagine you have a 7 p.m. appointment that same day. Add to that, none of the nearby gas stations have a functioning air pump for you to air-up enough to get home. Then, imagine checking online to see if there are nearby tire centers that are still open to get it patched. Well, this was me... yesterday. David (mgr.) at the Lee Road (Orlando, FL) store went the extra mile at a time his store closed and everyone was heading home. Google said it closed at 6 p.m., but the hours recently changed to 5:30. I limp to the store in rush hour traffic at 5:32 to find I was two minutes late. David wrote up the order and came out to help me himself with the intention of putting on the spare and taking the tire for patching so I can make the 12 mile trip home. I would This was generous on it's own because it was time for him to head home, it was getting dark, the weather looked nastier, and in all fairness (despite the change in hours) I was late. Instead, he switches gears and says, "Let me go ahead and take care of this for you." So, instead of holding it to the morning for repair, he plugs the hole, water-tests it, and re-mounts it. I'm heading into the store to pay him, and he says, "Don't worry about it, you need to get home." I mean, WHO does that nowadays? It's these generous acts that gives me faith in my fellow man at a time when it can be argued we see anything but. I head home to my family safe and sound and then to my scheduled appointment. Kudos to David for being a kind human being! Mavis, please hire and train more folks of character like him! It means a lot and it'll come back to you in spades!”
