“So ... I'm the son of a former maven in the carpet industry. Why do I share this? Because that makes me a tough customer. Tough to sell to; tough to install for while I'm overseeing the cutting, seaming, etc. etc. etc. With all that said ... you'd have to be a fool to buy carpet anywhere else other than Westchester House and Home. I walked in, was greeted kindly, told Kathy what the carpet was being purchased for, the color requirements, and equally as important, what my price point was. She went directly to a stack of showroom samples and said here's your baby. And she was right. Totally. On the first try. What more can a customer ask for? Just when you think things can't get any better, they did. The carpet was delivered the day it was promised and then I had the great pleasure of meeting Luis, the expert carpet installer. It was a relatively big install, so Luis and his team arrived early then at 5:15 Luis asked, "How late can we work?" Now ... it's been my experience that when the end of day bell rings, out the door go the workmen. Not here. Luis and his hardworking confidants stayed at my home to near 9:00 in the evening so they could get the job done in one shot. And get the job done they did. Expertly, and might I dare to say in the prose of carpet industry jargon, seamlessly. I highly recommend Westchester House and Home. To go anywhere else would just be plain silly.”

“About 18 months ago my husband and I were looking for luxury vinyl flooring (LVF) to cover over the parquet floors in our recently purchased apartment in Ossining. The existing floors were probably about 60 years old, yellowed, badly stained, and broken down in places. Carpet Giant had a very nice selection of LVF products, and we actually found just what we were looking for, a pale blond, Scandinavian-style plank flooring that we delight in every day. The installation team carefully prepared the old flooring to accept the LVF product, filling in gaps in the parquet that might compromise the stability of the new floor, which went directly on top of the parquet. Installation was very efficient and flawless. The new flooring is holding up very well, with no dents or scratches, and is extremely easy to maintain.
