“Love this farm on the Yorktown/Mount Kisco border. Organically grown greens. Pasture raised meats. Flowers. Herbs. Visit the farm or buy the goods at the Katonah and North Salem Farmers Markets. The freshest, most tasty greens you will find. Ann, Eileen and Sarah tirelessly tend to this magical place. A delight for the senses and spirit. Support local farms!”

“I spent a peaceful morning exploring the trails here and it was exactly the breath of fresh air I needed. The sanctuary is incredibly well-preserved, with a great variety of habitats from open meadows to deep woodlands. I followed the boardwalk through the wetlands and was able to spot several different types of hawks and songbirds—the bird-watching opportunities are truly fantastic. The trails are clearly marked and easy to navigate, making it a great spot for a casual hike or a nature walk. I also stopped by the visitor center, which had some really interesting educational exhibits about the local ecosystem. It’s a quiet, scenic escape that feels miles away from the hustle and bustle, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys being outdoors and spotting local wildlife.”

“Highly recommended for anyone interested in food systems. It’s especially impactful for families, educators, & anyone looking to reconnect with where our food really comes from.
The agriculture tour at Stone Barns Center is a truly enriching experience that goes far beyond the typical farm visit. It offers a rare, behind-the-scenes look at regenerative agriculture in action.
The tour brings you up close to every part of the food system, from the pastures where heritage breed livestock graze, to the greenhouse innovations and composting operations that feed the soil. The emphasis is on sustainable, ecologically responsible farming practices, and it’s clear the center isn’t just growing food, but rethinking the entire relationship between people, land, and climate.”

“Girl Scout Troop 2812 was so happy to bake cupcakes for the guests at the RMH in Valhalla. Their entire "House" is extremely clean. We loved using their kitchen to bake with our Junior troop, of 10 year olds. Susan at the front desk made it such a pleasant experience, with quick and easy check-in. We can't wait to volunteer again! We will definitely be back to help. :-)”

“Our Pre-K program goes to the library about 6-8 times a year. They absolutely love the library. They love Tina the turtle and the stories are always in sync with what we are working on. They also do a craft that they are able to bring back and take home. Thank you so much for making the library a warm inviting environment for the children. Katonah is very fortunate to have you!”

“Hello everyone! If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. The instructors are so professional and understanding. They really know what they are doing in this place.
Let me explain...my daughter is shy, and is not much of a conversation starter. In public, she is quite and calm and polite. Behind doors, she is this explosively joyful child ready to take on the world. I wanted the world to see that side of her and this theater and it's personnel have provided that. My daughter gets on stage and we see that overly charismatic child who has so much to share with the world.
Thank you Random Farms for being home to my daughters heart. She loves you and will forever hold you as an amazing memory in her childhood and life.
I also want to add that I see bad reviews in regards to irresponsible parents who feel entitled, and feel they're kid must go on show while having to been sick and its wrong. Let's be mindful that the personnel has to think about others too and their health as well. It's part of the policy. But other than that, don't hesitate to join! Your child will LOVE this place! They also do volunteer work for the community, which is a plus.”

“Great organization preserving wooded and open spaces for native wildlife and plants. They have many properties that are open free to the public for hiking. Parking is usually limited and not paved. Restrooms are not usually available.”

“I've lived in the same town for many years, and finally went to one of their 'graduation' ceremonies. The people who are getting their guide dogs (at no charge to them) put in a lot of time, and the dogs are tremendously well trained in a spotless and comfortable environment. The difference these dogs make to people with sight disabilities is immeasurable, and it's a great experience. Donations here are going to a very, very good cause, and I'm proud to be a donor.”

“Above average store. Nice employees - but lines can be long during peak times. Not as much inventory as the Wappingers location. I’ve found some great pieces, but also a lot of fast fashion that doesn’t sell and sits for weeks. No one wants Shein for $6-10. Well organized and clean enough.”

“YLIA has the best selection of stuff - and the best part - you are helping the community when you shop (or donate) there! The clothing stock is rotated, so you don't see the same stuff week after week- and the prices are great! I got a 'new' leather tote for $15 and when I looked it up online, it was worth $250! The finds are great!”

“This location of the YMCA (Wildey St) is only a children's care facility as of Fall 2023. Any reviews prior to that pertain to the old YMCA location. My family has had a wonderful experience with the Y Early Learning Center. Both of our children are enrolled and the facility is safe and clean; the teachers are loving and nurturing; and the families we've met are all wonderful. It's also a super convenient location. Highly recommend to families looking for childcare options in Tarrytown!”
