“Visiting from out of town, we needed some plants for our son's house in Mt. Kisco, and found Michael's Garden Gate! Their selection of plants was absolutely amazing, and from h help with our selection, to getting everything carefully settled in our car, the staff was as courteous as they were knowledgeable!
Oh, and though we weren't in the market this time, they have what looked like more than a hundred orchids!”
“I went in to order a nice halloween bouquet of flowers for my wife. They were super helpful and friendly. They really hit out of the park with what they created and it was just absolutely beautiful.”
“Love getting our flowers and annuals from here. Seems to be the best quality I have been able to find. I have been using them for my clients' planters and garden beds for 6 years.”
“Since the reviews here are from a few years ago we weren't sure it was open, but we went yesterday and indeed it is. We spent a good long time talking with the owner. It's such a unique place. There are some unusual plants and trees, plus the more conventional stock. Since it's the end of the season, plus we've had a drought, it could look a little bedraggled to anyone looking for polished rows of plants, but to a veteran gardener it's clear what's there. Plus the owner was generous in his advice about what to plant now. He also has a passionate interest in wellness and is eager to share his knowledge about mushrooms in particular. He doesn't sell mushrooms, but it is an interest. We will definitely be going back. He does landscape design, but this is also a retail nursery.”
“I recently came by and was both impressed by and appreciated Craig's knowledge. They have an excellent seasonal selection and I left with plenty of gardening tips. This will certainly be a place I return to for future purchases. I feel compelled to say I have no idea why "Mr S." above felt the need to write such a negative comment. Seeing as most of their comments are 1-2 stars and in another State, I would recommend others not take much stock in their review.”
“Great company to deal with. They have quality items and are very responsive to your needs. I have used them over the years and they cannot be beat for price, quality, design and delivery.I highly recommend using them for all your landscaping needs.Services: Walkway landscaping”
“5 stars for the amazing gentlemen working in the field. Every time I’ve visited they have been very helpful especially Enrique. He took his time explaining the plants to me. He really knows his stuff. The nursery itself has an abundance of options.. it can be overwhelming but I love coming here and checking out the beautiful plants. Thank you Enrique!”
“I always have a great experience at this store! The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable, making it easy to find what I need for my projects. Plus, their selection is impressive, so I can always count on them to have the supplies I'm looking for.”
“I can only speak for the Garden center at this Home Depot. But I always enjoy coming, even when it's a bit of a madhouse. Lots of interesting plants and possible to get great deals. I find the staff are really chill, helpful, and nice. The experience with the staff honestly really keeps me coming back rather than seeking out other places.”
