We found that with Bob at Scoville Meno. In less than 4 days Bob walked us through all the corners and possibilities of purchasing a new Jeep. We actually were going to buy a 4Runner based on reliability but with Bob’s help we easily found a warranty package that covers us as we need and for a fair price. And let’s be real… a Jeep is way funner than a 4Runner so we were happy to make that work. I am a sensitive shopper when it comes to being sold, that’s one reason I appreciated working with Bob.. I didn’t feel like I was being sold, rather being given information and let to make my own decision. “Since 1978 I have purchased 29 vehicles from Country Club Motors in Oneonta, NY: 1 used & 28 new. I was always satisfied with every aspect of shopping there, until this year. New owners have taken over & they no longer seem interested in courtesy & service. Having been unsuccessful in buying a new car there after going there with the intention of leaving with a new car again I decided to give McReady a try. My salesperson, Andrew, was very personable & professional. He showed me the car I was interested in & made no effort to pressure me in any way. When it came time for him to make me an offer on my trade (I was going to hold out for a certain amount-firm). McReady's first offer was $500 more than I was going to hold out for! Everything proceeded quickly & smoothly & The deal was done in under an hour! Carl, who handled the financing was pleasant & again did not try to sell me anything I didn't want or need. I even met the owner who was very pleasant also. Needless to say Country Club has lost a repeat customer & McReady Motors has gained one. * For some reason YELP has me living in Marathon, NY-I don't.
