I'm so happy to be back home with Grace Baptist Church. The services, sermon/preaching, music, events, programs, baptism, and communion are so wonderful, rich, and fulfilling especially feeling God's presence during them. The people here are so living, nice, and spirit filled. I definitely want to become a better Christian serving others and His church body.

I love the Atmosphere and the spiritual warmth you feel as you enter the sanctuary. Pastor Richardson exhibits leadership abilities that are lacking in some other churches that I’ve attended. When I attend worship service, I feel that this is the place where God wants me to be.The music is superb, interspersed with hymns and general songs of praise.

Incredibly friendly Baptist church. Pastor very sincere and loving. Old fashioned conservative music. Cares about people and their eternity. I only wish all churches were like it. John&Luz Hackensack NJ

I have been a member of Grace for approximately 30 years. My two sons have attended children’s church. One of my sons who is Ph.D credentialed, while attending Hampton University was extremely supported by the MOCCA ministry. Grace is a phenomenal pillar in the community! Dr. W. Franklin Richardson is a spiritual force. While he is fully supported by our First Lady, Lady Inez Richardson,Dr. Richardson is an extraordinary Pastor and a servant leader. He is a preacher and a teacher who supports the community through giving and providing opportunities. Pastor’s leadership provides affordable housing, housing for the elderly , a safe place for the youth and young adults (YAMFAM) to engage and socialize. The congregation and officers of Grace provide a welcoming and embracing feeling at each and every service! The choirs are exceptional, from the children’s choir , the young adult choir, the men’s choir to the adult choir! There is a consistent joyful noise!!I have relocated from the Bronx to Virginia and although I can not physically make it to the sanctuary I am there every Sunday via zoom. Pastor is a visionary. He is indeed an eloquent speaker , an educator and an anointed one! Pastor officiated over my mother’s (Priscilla Norman-Davis) home going (May 8, 2007)and my brother’s (NYC Firefighter Robert Norman) home going(Nov 7, 2019), and did pastor preach!!! His words strengthen and comforted me and helped me get through my devastating physical losses. There are numerous ministries within Grace. If you are looking for a church home or somewhere to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or just a place to use your gifts or give back to the community, then Grace is the place for you.If you are a parent and seeking a safe place for your children where you can find the support in instilling the proper morals and principles in them. Again, Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon NY is the place to be!I am a divorcee with two sons who I raised from young without financial child support, as a single parent after my divorce. By God’s Grace and Mercy and the support of my Pastor and the Grace family, my two sons have a close relationship with God and are decent successful black men. My 35 yr old is a Psychology Professor for graduate courses at Hampton University and as young Dr. Norton owns a private therapy practice (Norton Therapeutic Solutions). He is a cultural competent therapist who is currently writing a book shedding a culturally relatable light on Mental Health awareness. In addition he has partnered with the Department of Juvenile Justice here in VA in hopes of starting a transitional housing program for the youth. My oldest son is now 37 and he is an electrician who now resides in NJ. LOOK AT GOD! ? We serve an AWESOME God!! Glory be to God and an attitude of gratitude be to my Pastor and my Grace family??❤️ Continued Blessings around and upon you and your families. Grace Baptist Church IS THE PLACE TO BE!! Let’s stay connected?

I am a 64yr old Grace baby! Growing up in grace was wonderful!! We had vibrant church services our choir director (Mrs. Spells) was very talented and made sure we were together. After service, we sometimes visited other churches, nursing facilities etc. Grace instilled values, compassion, kindness, love and loyaltythese are the traits that I make my choices and still live by today “I am a Grateful Grace Baby.” ????

The receptionist team. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. For this being a religious institution, they lack the necessary skills of empathy and GRACE, forget about the customer service, that DOES NOT exist. They move in a space of tolerance. Those ladies are something else. Rev. Myzel (s/p) who is an assistant pastor spoke to me in the most thuggish/disrespectful /ungodly manner one can imagine and when I held him accountable, told me, “everybody knows that’s how he is.” I was done with that statement. Pastor Richardson and his son when he visits, are beyond amazing with spreading the message of god. That was my WHY for returning, despite the disrespectful nature of the rest of the team.

I have never attended. My review is based on phone conversationsLong story short…The receptionist are okay. The one I spoke the most of the time was nice and the last one has a little attitude.Transferred to the pastor after several attempts. He was a abrupt and rude in conversation and in the end denied servicing my family due to medical decisions my family made.As a church, I would think “you can come as you are”.
