The manager of GEEK SQUAD made me wait while he was training people. He didn't say come back, make an appt or that he would take some time with the 2 Geek Squad techs. So 3 Geek Squad techs were all tied up with trainingwhii ibwaited indefinitely. I just wanted advice on a laptop. I went back after I purchased a laptop and the husky tech with crew cut and ponytail was unprofessional, arrogant and rude. I was told that it would cost $50 to transfer files and photos to new laptop by a sales associate. the Geek Squad tech got annoyed and told me i had to sign up for a service contract for 1 yr. The laptop came with a 1 yr warranty. I went to Micro center and got a better deal on a comparable laptop with more features and more storage and a 2 year service contract for the same price as Geek Squad service conract for one year AND the folks at Micro center were ALL courteous, professional and very accommodating. Do better Geek Squad!

Absolutely useless. Went there for help with my cell phone. The girl working tried to help or get info for what I needed. The guy didn't even turn around. when he finally did because i asked again, it was as if I was bothering him. If you need help, Don't waste your time at this location.

The customer service was good but the customer that help me did not help at all. His personality was good but he don't know anything about phones or just to simple transfer a video from a phone to a flash drive.then they called themselves geek squad? They don't know anything about electronics.

I dropped my computer off on a Saturday. They told me they'd do the diagnostic and get back to me by Sunday or Monday at the latest. I tried calling all day Monday and Tuesday but the local geek squad number sends you to a call center. They couldn't give me any updates and kept saying that someone from the store would call me, but they never did. I finally had to go there on Tuesday evening in person and it turned out they hadn't even checked the computer yet.

These folks at the Mt Vernon location were great they analyzed the problem, gave me a price and looked for ways to save me money on the repair, they fixed the original problem and have been working remotely to fix and additional issue that developed after the original fix, special shout-out Emerie for her professionalism and attentiveness. Disregard all those bad reviews. These guys are great.

Geek Squad take forever to take care of the customers... I know it's busy most of the time but 20 minutes with a client just for pickup...?? That's unacceptable, they need at least 3 people on the pick-up area, one is not enough..!
