Customers service in this branch nanuet ny . To make a simple appointment is so difficult & whenever they do decide to answer the phone you still cant make a appointment because no one is available to set up a simple appointment . #capitalone , you can do better . Then try to blame it on me .

Horrible bank. Horrible "Customer Service". Is this bank based in India? It's impossible to speak with people who actually work for the bank. Only call centers in India. I went into the branch to seak with them. As previous reviews state, HORRIBLE "customer service". At this point, I would prefer an Indian bank

The branch is on Route 59, but it's easy to get in and get out of the parking lot. First time I've ever reviewed a brick and mortar bank. I found the service to be excellent. I explained my predicament with the mobile app. It would not except a check, Darren understood, and took care of it right away. That was a relief. I would recommend this place even though it's about an hour away from me

This is not a bank, but a credit card payment center 'on steroids'. The parking is challenging if you want a convenient spot right in front of the door; a bit easier for a few extra steps. Be prepared to wait, since people coming here tend to have complex transactions; but I did not find it longer than typical in-person transactions.

Arrogant customer service. Teller cannot help you with anything except deposit. One person working only. Making you wait forever.

Very nice ATM drive-through, only it's a little unclear why it's called a drive-through if you're most definitely not driving through the machine, and even if you wanted to use it, it's not really practical without getting out of the car.

Beyond Despicable! SAFETY ALERT--THIS CAPITAL ONE BRANCH ILLEGALLY VIOLATES PRIVACY AND DISABILITY LAW I had a terrible experience at this branch a couple of years ago in which I was stunned by a very bright, piercing beam of light that shot into my eyes with absolutely no warning at the teller station, and was told afterwards that I should have requested not to have the light beam used if it bothered me. No explanation is given as to why this potentially dangerous laser-type light beam is aimed at people's faces. In fact, it's a technique used to stun and injure targeted persons in criminal matters--not something that has any place being inflicted on unsuspecting customers in a bank. It is also used for facial recognition purposes, but this violates the customer's right to privacy if they have not consented to be subjected to its use--consent which Capital One does not bother to get. It can also hurt, sting, cause visual obstruction and damage the eye, particularly if eyes are sensitive to bright beams of light (which many are), or the person receiving the beam already has other eye issues. Having had this happen before at this very branch, I asked the teller the moment it was my turn if the light beam would be used, explaining that I was declining consent to it, and had sustained pain and discomfort in my eyes when it was used without warning on a previous visit. After first pretending that she had no idea what I was talking about, the teller told me that if I walked away while she checked my identification, the light beam would not hit me. The teller then summoned me back, and as she asked what transaction I was there for, deceptively triggered the bright light beam to shine in my face the moment I was in front of her! This is disgraceful, and makes a mockery of health and privacy law, disability rights, consumer rights, and just plain common decency. It also endangers the health and well-being of innocent members of the public who have done nothing more than attempt to patronize the bank. If Capital One believes its customer base in Nanuet or anywhere is comprised of criminals, then close the branch! They've already closed nearly every branch location I regularly patronized, and seemingly don't want local bank business in major population areas--begging the question of what Capital One's real business and revenue source is. I received no apology for the vile treatment, for my being lied to by the bank employee, and for having a dangerous light beam shined at me without my consent and against my clear directive that it not be used. The rights, health and safety of bank customers and the general public matter. It's too bad Capital One Nanuet doesn't get that, and disregards customers - even loyal, longtime customers - as if pieces of trash.
