I had a fantastic experience at Chase Bank today.The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. They made my banking needs a breeze, and their attention to detail was impressive. I came on Saturday. The bank is closed. There’s only a drive-through ATM, but it didn’t work.

Chase bank has annoying policies as it is and even being someone who has been here on more than several occasions they refuse to service me for the absolute dumbest reasons. This is exactly why I'll never open a bank account here. Thankfully I only have to come here on behalf of my employer.

On 6 different occasions over the past 4 months, the outside ATM was broken, and not operational. At what point does management get the message? I understand these days there is no accountability for anyone across the country, but I can still wish.

I needed a document notarized they wouldn't do it without an appointment, at least a day in advance. And I am a long term customer. I also asked why Chase was giving only 0.01% interest and other banks over 3%. I was told "They are not J.P. Morgan they are a smaller bank who need your business" I guess J.P. Morgan don't need our business. Even in small banks our money is safe, they too are FDIC insured, and they care about their customers. The local branches can act like this because the Chase Executive Offices ignore your complaint.

Unlike the other reviewer, I have been a long time customer of the Middletown Road, Nanuet branch of Chase. Another difference was it was a sunny day. However, what is the same is the one star rating, and the uncaring lackadaisical attitude of the people that work there. I went there to have a one page document notarized. It would have taken a minute. The Manager, who knows me, said the Notary was busy with a customer and asked her how long she thinks she would be busy. "At least an hour"the clerk said. Then the Manager said "She will be busy all day, make an appointment for tomorrow" I told her the urgency of the document and said it would just take a minute. She told me to go to the Pearl River Library to get it notarized. I went to a bank a few blocks away and they did it immediately (I don't have an account at that bank). I also asked the Manager why I was only getting 0.01% interest there while other banks are giving over 3.0%. Her answer "They are not J.P. Morgan, they are a smaller bank who wants your business." That said it all. And if you try to complain to the Corporate Executive Office you would get confirmation they don't care about you. What J.P. Morgan Chase don't seem to realize is that even if your money is in one of the smaller banks, it still is FDIC insured.

Ride to the bank to cash a check that was drawn on the bank at 10 a.m. on the snowy morning. I was greeted by a somewhat for the young lady on the platform and when I asked to cash the check she told me that I could not because I didn't have an account there to check was drawn on The Chase Bank I asked her that if I could open the account so that I can deposit the check and she told me know that there was nobody there to open an account. What can you do for me I replied she says Come back later, I walked out
