If I could give zero stars I would. I was greeted when I walked in to pick up my online order .The gentleman said that the order was just received and not ready yet and walked away. I wasn't sure if he was going to look for the order or what. 20 minutes went by and I still hadn't been spoken to again. Finally after what seemed like a half hour he came back and said the order had to be canceled because they don't have the product, his manager had to cancel it. I said please don't cancel it, can you just order it for me. He said no, with no other explanation. Then I had asked to speak to his manager so I could get some sort of explanation of what was going on in which he just walked away, mumbled something under his breath, and no one ever came back over to me. After waiting about 10 minutes of waiting for someone I decided to leave and call customer care to deal with my issues. I have never felt so disrespected as I did there today. I work in customer service 6 days a week and even with the rude customers I still would not treat them the way I was treated today. They have zero respect for their customers.

Came in with some issues with my bill and rebates when I switched from AT&T last month and for the last month regretting it but when I came in and had the pleasure of working with KEITH .. He took his time to explain everything and went above and beyond to contact customer service for me and resolve all issues I was having. He was patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. Verizon if you are reading this which I hope you are you need to commend your employee for his services. Anyone looking to buy a phone or anything else for that matter please and see Keith. He is the man!

We were on queue and they told us it was our turn to be serviced. When we got there, they told us it was not our turn yet and would have to wait a few more hours. They didn't believe the store called us when we told them and wouldn't investigate while we were there. Very disorganized and a terrible customer experience. We decided to take our business elsewhere.

Went in to have my new phone serviced, only to hear that I needed to make an appointment. The next appointment was not available until the end of October! The colleague shrugged when I questioned the time frame and stated that my phone wasn't working properly . He suggested that I download step by step instructions from Apple, to resolve my issue. Meanwhile, there were at least 3 other colleagues standing there doing nothing. As I was leaving I overheard them making fun of me. Horrible experience, zero customer service at the Nanuet location, just a bunch of clowns standing around with their hands in their pockets. Stay away from this location, such a waste of time. Called 611 and my issue was resolved within minutes.

The people work there are as dishonest as can be. They will lie right to your face in order to make a sale. The customer service is atrocious and the manager is an out right idiot. First you go there and you'll have to wait an hour. Next on a hot day they tell you to wait outside because of Covid restrictions. When I asked the manager what the maximum number of people allowed in the store he would not tell me. I asked him if he knew and he said he knew but would not tell me and that it was posted on the door. It was indeed posted and it was 26 when there no more that 14 including staff. I had a very simple problem and when I asked them why I had to wait so long they said because there are other people in front of me even though they were only two people waiting. When I explain the problem to him first one of his staff gave me a piece of paper with a tech phone number on it and told me to call them and they can handle it. I called twice and got a message from a different company that said I was not eligible for technical service. What he did was send me to a warranty company even though the problem I had was not with the phone it was with the service itself. I went back in the store and then he told me that the service is working fine I said how do you know that and he said he was a manager. I said you're the manager of a retail store how would you know about the entire Verizon network and it's working and he insisted he did which was a bold face lie. He had no idea. When I called him out on it he refused to serve me any longer so I sat there. He never asked me to leave or get out of the store and he called the police who came. The police spoke to him and then they spoke to me and I told them the story. First the police said that it was crap that the Covid restriction was in place because they saw how many people were in the store. I totally believe me but unfortunately because it's a private business they were forced to ask me to leave even though he told me I was right. The irony is that the manager never actually asked me to leave the store he just said he would not serve me anymore. But not before trying to sell me a new phone claiming it was my phones problem even though I had this problem since I first bought the phone two years ago and he tried to tell me it was out of warranty and I had to buy a new one. I said is my phone service out of warranty because I pay my bill every month. Of course he had no answer and insisted that the phone was broken. So I walked out with the police and they told me to contact Verizon and make a complaint which I have done. I then called 611 and spoke to a technical consultant a manager never directed me. She was very pleasant and unwilling to give up. Eventually she found the problem and it was in the way my account was set up I have nothing to do with the phone itself and there were no settings on the phone that could've been adjusted. She said it had to be done through the Verizon app if I had known about it but she happily fixed it and was very pleasant and very discouraged by the way the staff in that store treated me. She also told me to log complete as her department could not do so. Avoid this store. I've been to other Verizon stores and never encountered anything like this so go there. But avoid this store as the employees are nothing more than line conniving rip off scam artists

Because of COVID protocol there is a virtual waiting list you are put on. Tashana put my name down, and said it'll be an hour maybe a little longer, but we will text you when it's your turn. We arrived at 6:45, Verizon closes at 8, so I asked if we come a little over an hour later, that's closing time. She said, as long as you know what you want, we will be able to fit you in. Perfect. We show up, we got to the door and she said, "oh I took your name off because I saw your car leave, it's too late now the associates are leaving." I replied, "you never said I had to stay in the parking lot" and Tashana replies "No I did not". After being rude and dissmive, I wasted my time waiting around. Do not tell me your going to help us right before close if your going to then change your mind. If they close at 8, the associates should not be fleeing from the floor if they took down sereval people's names (because there were people behind us also waiting, who were also going to be turned away). This turns customers away, this is the kind of work ethic that brings company's down and store fronts to close. Workers like Tashana, who didn't seem like a sales associate, should not be able to speak to customers the way she does and give out false promises. Ridiculous.

I have had the WORST experience with some of the employees at this location. There was an issue accessing my account because of incorrect contact information on their end. I went into the store for their assistance and supposedly the account was closed. A month the later when I received another larger bill I went into the store to question it and was faced with SHORT RESPONSES AND CONDESCENSION. One of the employees was basically laughing at me, A next month goes by and I received another bill for an account that was supposed to be canceled. This time I return to the store again for assistance with canceling it. I was told there was no way too verify that it was actually closed but that I would receive a refund. Two weeks go by and I return to this same location to settle the issue; multiple employees tell me there is nothing they can do to help, and they addressed many other customers (that were there after me) while I wait out in the cold on hold with a number they gave me. Many of the employees are rude to me, and clearly have an attitude whilst saying that it would be better if I weren't there. The story from the employees change again and they allow me into the store to use their phone. This is when I find out that after "canceling" the account (Whilst on the phone in store) TWICE my account was STILL active. This is now two months after I had originally canceled the account. To make matters worse, they had incorrect information for my account which made is practically impossible for them to verify me. I went thought the cancellation process again but again there is no way to verify it so I am currently in limbo. Some employees were helpful but many were rude, laughed at my situation, changed their story on how they could help and lacked overall empathy. As a corporate location I would have expected better. It was a total disappointment. Shame on the decorum of some of the employees that I encountered

Service is slow and often times they are under staffed especially around holidays. Had to wait a long time to speak with someone. They should have someone at the door to greet people and put their name on the list to wait because I had to find a rep and ask him how I can speak with someone while he was helping someone else. Otherwise most Employees are helpful and patient.

I had an issue with setting up my new iPhone, so I made an appointment online to talk to someone at Verizon. Verizon told me that it was a diagnostic problem, and that I had to go to the Apple store to have it resolved. I appreciated the quick diagnosis and great customer service.

Absolutely awful customer service. Broke my iphone went in for a new one. After purchase and opened the phone I was informed I actually still had insurance which I thought I did not have. Asked if I could use the insurance instead, and was told yeah but you have to pay $50 restocking fee. When I complained they said I shouldve asked if I had insurance first. While that is not wrong it is pretty bad business to not offer the customer their options. Needless to say they would not waive fee. I called verizon directly and it took all of 1 minute for her to waive the fee. Also while in the store I was approached by 3 different people trying to get me to buy a case, then when I kept declining they tried to make me feel bad by not purchasing one. Who in their right mind would pay triple the price for a case in verizon when you can buy online literally anywhere. There was also a hard sell on charging stations and air pods. I literally just wanted a phone not a used car sales experience. Would never go back to this Verizon again
