TL DR: USPS at this location is best for package drop off, a simple change of address form was not simple. I went through extra work just to go to another USPS and they completed my verification in under 60 seconds.
I had to go to USPS because apparently my identity could not be verified through the Change-of-Address form online. I came to this post office, was told because my address did not match on my license they couldn't do it. I showed them a lease with my signature and the new address, I left information and was told it would be remedied.
Well, it didn't, because I received a new notification from USPS it failed. Nassau staff tell me I have to get a new ID. Now here comes the funny parts -
1. NYS DMV laughed at me and mentioned I must of had a grumpy worker. They could not believe the amount of work I had to go through to have my address changed. So, I paid $17.50 for the license replacement and $3.00 for a new registration.
2. I go to the Hudson St, Albany, NY USPS location. Excited and armed with documentation, I am getting my form to go through. Irony time - USPS laughed at me. They mentioned Nassau had no clue what they were doing and apologized for making me go through all of this trouble. The workers there as well were surprised I updated my license just for this form.

I have been impressed with this post office. I've had lots of problems in the past with others. Our mail carrier, Lori, is wonderful and goes above and beyond. I get a lot of packages and she always has a smile and a friendly demeanor, even though I'm sure she's had enough of bringing heavy things to our door. There was some confusion early on with a couple deliveries when we first moved in, but all it took was a call to the office and everything was taken care of. I really think these folks are doing a great job, and I'm sure it's not easy.

Seemingly, over the last couple of years, we have had a rash of packages with marked "attempted delivery at X time" with some often times bogus reason when my security footage shows no such attempts. Truly unfortunate.

Pretty easy to get there had no problems going inside to deliver my packages and letters also had no problem getting stamps there when I needed them they are very reliable and I highly recommend going there if you are live near there because it's nice and simple.

Heather the post master yelled at me because I had a complaint about my mail not getting delivered or taken when the flag is up (Its sat in the box for 2 days) Also doesnt care about who the hell gets your mail, mine has been misdelivered wrote on and re delivered to me, I also receive so much mail that was to a different address. Important mail that if were mine, I wouldn't want in the hands of other people. But according to this ray of sunshine demeaning a customer is the way you handle complaints. That's someone who just wants to get paid and not work.

I have to ship packages daily for my business, and the staff at the Nassau post office is the most professional, nice and helpful USPS I've ever dealt with! They go out of their way to make my life easier!

Mail delivery not great..very inconsistent.some days no mail truck at all
