“After reading through the comments regarding the Carthage Post Office, I am compelled to write: I have been a Carthage resident for nearly 60 years, served by this post office. My experience inside has always been positive, whether buying stamps, sending packages, or even when applying for a passport. People are people, subject to good days and bad days. But I found that a quick smile and and a friendly greeting has *ALWAYS* been met with a kind reply, quick, courteous service, and prompt help. I have noticed some irregularities in delivery times from the carriers in the village. But I also recognize that there are factors outside their control that can be at play. They always deliver, even on Sundays if they get behind due to mail volume. All said, I am quite please with the Carthage office and those that give it their best, even when the snarly ones walk in off the street.”
