Pharmacy is incompetent and unorganized. They fill prescriptions I don’t even ask for, don’t know how to apply a savings card and shorted me on a medication. This is unacceptable.

This location has stolen from their customers by selling gift cards that ended up being either compromised or invalid and then didn't refund me the money. I will never shop at this store again. They lost a customer who spends thousands a year. The corporate office should be ashamed of themselves. Then they had the audacity to say I have to get the money from the store the gift card was for???? Awful customer service.

The worst customer service ever at the pharmacy department. It literally felt like being treated like a dog.

I purchased an Amazon gift card from my local CVS in Nesconset, NY. Upon trying to redeem the gift card, we discovered it was fraudulent and the claim code was removed so I could not redeem it for its $50 value. I returned to the store but they said that they could not help me and I would need to contact CVS's Customer Service group. I opened an investigation and after ~3 weeks, they responded to me taking no responsibility even though the gift card was purchased in their store. They basically told me it was my problem and that I should try contacting Amazon to see if they will credit it me. The Custome Service representative was smug and totally not helpful. I strongly recommend NOT shopping at CVS because they do not stand by their sales.

0 STARS>>>BUYER BEWARE: please do not buy giftcards from this CVS at 232, Smithtown Blvd in Nesconset, NY. Scammers are harvesting giftcards codes/claim numbers and then resealing card back to their original sleeve. I bought two Amazon gift cards for my kids for $100 each & could not use them because once we opened the cards the middle digits were all rubbed off. Obviously the ahole who stole the numbers redeemed the card and I end up getting totally screwed! Trying to work with both CVS hotline (800-SHOP-CVS) and Amazon will be utterly useless and aggravating as they will say the same stupid crap “we could see from our end that the cards were redeemed”, it’s like okay but it wasn’t by me: the person who actually paid for the giftcards. So please heed this advice and DO NOT BUY giftcards from this location!! Trying to help you save your money and unneeded stress from this terrible experience!

Automated phone service is an incredibly frustrating process and never allows you to speak with a live person. NOT AT ALL HELPFUL!! Why can we not speak with a pharmacist when we need to???

The staff at CVS (Particularly in the Pharmacy!) is so splendid! However, the bathrooms here are absolutely putrid. I don’t want the people that are touching my medications using a restroom that looks like a class IV biohazard. For a place that promotes health and well-being, it’s a shame they cannot ensure their own cleanliness! You literally sell cleaning supplies. Use them.

Recently, the pharmacist put the wrong medication in my bottle. I have been so dizzy that I couldn’t drive or work for weeks until I realized they were the wrong pills. This is NOT ok.

I was getting text messages to come pick up my prescriptions from CVS in Nesconset, so I get out of bed and their pharmacy is closed for lunch, must be nice to care so much for your customers that you can take a leisurely lunch while sick people need there medications. My insurance makes me go to CVS but I will find another one further away that doesn’t close for lunch. I wish my insurance would let me go to another pharmacy, I would do that in a heartbeat. And to the people who work there, do you leave you empathy in your cars when you arrive to work? Lunch is more important than someone who is sick, what’s wrong with you people?

The CVS managers are really friendly and sweet. The pharmacy employee, Victoria, shouldn’t work with the public. As soon as you drive up to the pharmacy, she demands your information, instead of a “hello”. Then, when I said “Have a nice holiday” she replies “Yep.” Really? Learn some manners and customer service. The CVS managers apologized for her behavior which I appreciated.
