“Come prepared. This is an old school laundromat. You have to come with cash. The machines need 4 dollars in quarters to run. No worries they have a machine to turn your bills in to quarters. There is no Apple Pay or electronic payment options that were obvious to me. Also you will need quarters for dryers as well.”

“Truly the Best !!!!!! I'm from the south shore bayport area . I went to a cleaners up the road from where I live to fix a zipper on my uniform jacket . They had it all day and when I went to pick it up they said it couldn't be fixed. My friend told me about Best Cleaners and dropped my jacket off . The next day it was fixed , brand new perfect . I will be going to them from now on . Excellent Service , you have a new customer !.”

“'m giving it 4 stars because I love this laundromat; I've been going there since 2011. But since they renovated it, I'm super happy. Excellent services. Very clean. Very organized. The washing machines wash very well. They are large and spacious. And the dryers also come in three different sizes, which is essential and important. Before, I used to go during the day, but I stopped because the woman who used to work there with the previous owner is disgusting. She yelled at my children because they dropped some snacks on the floor. Even though I, as their mother, picked them up, she was still speaking loudly to us. It's as if she hates children, and everything bothers her. To avoid stopping going to the laundromat altogether, I decided to go at night, and I'm happy and comfortable now. That's why I wrote this review, and I want the owner to recognize the great work of one of his employees. Her name is Gladis, and she's from Guatemala. I go during the night shift on weekdays, and she is very kind. She is attentive to any help you might need. When she's cleaning, she's very careful to make sure customers don't slip and fall. Since I met her, I always try to go on the days she's working because she makes me feel comfortable. If the owner sees this, you have a great employee. She deserves a raise. She is exceptional, polite, and respectful. I've grown fond of her because it's hard to find people like her, and I truly appreciate it.”

“All the dryers and washers work great and Sylvie the owner(?) is an absolute sweetheart! Using the low setting on the dryers will take twice as long to dry your clothes, so I recommend doing half time of both settings if you’re drying something with elastics! Please give this place a try, they deserve all the support!”

“My experience using st James Cleaners has always been nothing short of Good. It is a Family owned business, which I love supporting Family owned businesses as oppose to Big Corporations. The owner Jesus works very hard , also a good reason to support his family owned business. Cleaning, Altering, what ever your need be, try St James Cleaners to get it done, in a caring professional environment. Prices are reasonable as well.”

“Awesome place . Staff is helpful & will let you know if a machine is broken & if I forget something behind when I leave , like my detergent they’ll tell me . Clothes come out great & smell much better than doing it at home . They have an app where you can pay for the machines instead of using quarters . Been coming here for a while now & I don’t plan on stopping”

555 Veterans Memorial Highway, Hauppauge NY 11788
“I received a brand new full length, pleated dress in the mail. Uknowingly, the side invisible zipper was broken. I needed to wear the dress the next day to a funeral. I brought the dress to them in the morning shortly after opening. The tailor replaced with a stronger invisible zipper and pressed it. I was charged $35. I thought it was high for a zipper change, but because it was done in several hours and ironed to perfection i didn't complain. The clerk at the front desk was helpful, pleasant and informative. They even let my husband pick up the dress for me without a ticket or ticket number.”

“My go-to dry cleaners. The lady behind the counter, the owner, is always pleasant. And they’ve helped me out in a bind and were able to clean and press my pants last minute. And I was able to pick it up the next day. I have been coming here for 12 years and have never had a problem.”
