I got my nails done at Top Coat 3/26. Two days later a nail broke while picking up a shoe. After that my nails continued to break off. After 3 weeks, I had lost five nails just from touching something or picking up stuff. The quality of the nails are horrendous. Do not waste your money here.

I have never had a good experience in a nail salon until I went to top coat nails. The environment was amazing and I will definitely be returning. I went into to get a full set of acrylics and they did not disappoint. Fiona did my nails I definitely recommend her she was the such a sweet lady and she made sure my nails were on point. I was gonna get a french but she suggested a ombre so I say ok lets try it. She also did not disappoint. I love how my nails turned out and all the staff are so lovely and kind. After my nails Fiona gave me a back massage and it felt very good. She only charged me 73$ for ombre if I went to another salon they would have charged me 90$. I cant recommend this spot enoug. I will definitely be returning for a fill.

This was my first time going to the salon and I must say that the salon is very clean and really pretty! The staff are really sweet and Yuki did an amazing job. She is amazing with design and she does her nails her self I could not believe it. She is very talented. I showed her a picture and she said no problem and my nails look exactly like the picture. Thank you!

I think it's important for people to know appointments do not matter. Top Coat Nails is near my home. I did go there for a few years, each time hoping the service would be better. my bad. If you make an appointment with a specific technician, they will tell you she is there, but in actuality she might have literally moved to another salon. That happened to me three times. If you want a specific time, they will say fine on the phone and make you wait at least an hour. If you want a complex design, they will bait you to come in and then say they can't do it or don't have the time. On a positive note, their selection of colors is enormous. They have all the latest and greatest. matte, glossy, sparkly, etc. They have it. I go to a different salon now. It's 10 miles from my house but definitely worth it.

They did a good job , my nails came nice , the people there are very friendly. Like it so much . Would definitely recommend it to my friends

I don’t recommend this place. This was my first experience on Friday with a male technician, and I will not go back nor will I recommend this place .Despite it being dirty inside, the staff rush you out.My technician hurt me a couple of times while he was filing during my pedicure. He did not offer me any of the special pedicure packages. He did not give the full pedicure experience. He tried to clean up the Excess nail polish that was left on my toes not on my nails. He was not successful. The nail polish on my toes did not reach the sides of my nails, There were still nail left unpolished.

Today me and my friend went to Top Coat Nail 2 in Hauppauge. My manicure came out ok but not good but what I could say it's worse than any other salon I have gone too for a manicure. As for my friend who came with me, his pedicure was $50 and he specifically asked for straight like he always gets at any other salon. His nails were always nice until today. The women who obviously has no experience doing nails did this job. See photos of this disgusting snd embarrassing pedicure. Keep in mind he said several times that he wanted straight across. I feel so bad for him. She cut them so weird and didn't file them. He's so embarrassed and there's no fixing it because of how they were cut. It's like a 5 year old did this. I would stay clear of this place. Never going back. Two disappointed customers.

I went in here for a specialized design set. I called a day in advance to describe the design i wanted and ask if they could do it. I was told yes. I went in for my appointment and at the very beginning, before even choosing a nail colour, showed them the design and again asked if they could do it. I was told yes. I asked if they were sure, and I was told yes by the technician that would be doing my nails. She puts on my nails, paints the base colour, and then gets ready to do the design. She asks me to show it to her again. I do. She tells me she can't do the design and its too complicated. I ask her to try. She does and cannot complete the design. Why lie to me at the start of my appointment?!? Why not be honest so I can go somewhere else that could actually do the service I'm paying for. The set was pretty expensive so I paid for this set and was trapped into thinking a service could be done that they couldnt do. I would absolutely not recommend going to this salon simply because they cannot be honest to their customers

Made an appointment to have gel polished changed for myself and my 9 year old daughter. We had a chrome put on top. (It was not a fill in, just a polish change). At the end I was told it came to $90.00, $87 if I paid cash. I thought the prices were absurd! They definitely took advantage and we will never return again. I get a fill in and my daughters nails done for less than that at our original place.

Very unprofessional nail salon first time going here with my sister I dropped a 20$ bill and a worker picked it up (my sister seen it) I asked to see cameras but on the video when I reach in my pocket to get the money it goes to no video I find that very strange. Also their employees decided to pat my pockets which was very disturbing I definitely don’t recommend mine and my sisters nails look disgusting first and last time going here. Now they are saying that I’m lying which I’m not and her employee should’ve never touched me

I really hate leaving bad reviews, but I feel like people need to be warned about this nail salon. I went to the Hauppauge location and received what may have been the worst UV Gel Fill. None of my nails were the same shape and the paint job was not well done. I requested they be fixed a few times and eventually just gave up, said thank you, and left. Not even 2 days later one of my nails broke and by the third day the paint was literally peeling off one of my nails. I called and requested a refund, and I was told I could receive one. Once I arrived, I was told I misunderstood (I clarified three times, there was no misunderstanding) and that they would only fix it. After I reiterated what I said on the phone, that I already made an appointment elsewhere for it to be fixed, I was told flatly that they do not do refunds. Eventually, I was offered a gift card, which I will likely never use. While this nail salon may be nice for pedicures and basic services, if you are serious about your nails and quality work, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I went to the new Hauppauge location about a month ago and made an appointment with Nicole. When I arrived not only was Nicole unavailable but I also sat there and waited 20 minutes past my appointment time to have someone else do my nails. She did not seem very prepared for or happy about it. However, she ended up doing a pretty good job, so I figured I would try again in a few weeks. Yesterday, I had another appointment with Nicole which was honored this time. I was the only person in the salon with about 4 other workers there and boy was my appointment RUSHED! Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got home that I noticed that half of my nails were missing top coat in certain areas so I had some dull spots and shiny spots. I also noticed that my thumb nail was completely crooked and unevenly filed. In addition, the parts of my nails that did receive top coat had sparkles all over them (I did not choose a color with sparkles and I did not ask for sparkles to be added). Today, I called and requested that my top coat be buffed off and redone. The man I spoke to on the phone said that would be no issue and that I could come in whenever. I showed up for them to fix my nails and again there was nobody else the salon, just the 3 employees working. I informed them that I was the person who called about my top coat and they looked at me like I had 3 heads. So, I explained to them and showed them and one of the women there told me to sit down and that Jack would help me. Jack then asked me how many nails I needed redone and I explained again that there was top coat missing on certain nails and that all of them had random sparkles all over that I didn't want so I asked him to please buff off the top coat and re-polish them. He then proceeded to tell me that he I didn't see any sparkles and that was the powder. So I told him that the sparkles are clearly silver the powder is red and I started pointing out the sparkles. He then grabbed my hand very roughly and began buffing/filing so rough that he ripped my skin open on 2 of my cuticles/fingers. The whole time he was speaking under his breath. He then got sick of buffing/filing so he started drilling my nails which caused some of the red pigment to turn blotchy and you could now see my regular nail color in some areas. Now, my nails looked even worse than when I walked in, he started to put the top coat on. So I stopped him and said excuse me but there's no pigment on certain parts of my nails and began showing him where he had completely shaved away all of the red pigment. Jack then asked me what color I had and I told him that I didn't know the number but I could look and try to find it. Instead of helping me find the color, he was talking to the other works as he stood over me and huffed and puffed and told me I should come back tomorrow (FOR A 3RD DAY IN A ROW). I told him that I was not able to come back tomorrow and that I was leaving for a vacation. When I found the correct color, he pulled it out of my hand and began doing my nails again. He was pulling and throwing my hands as he was redoing them and yet again filing and buffing extremely hard over my already destroyed cuticles. The 3 workers were still very clearly all speaking about me. When Jack finished he didn't wipe the red dip powder off of my fingers/hands. By this point I was so done I didn't even say anything more other than thank you and I walked out. I will NEVER be back here. If you do go, PLEASE CHECK YOUR NAILS BEFORE YOU LEAVE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!

The workers are wonderful! With that being said, the two owners are shady and extremely disrespectful to the clients as well as their employees. It's all about the money. They don't honor appointments... they double , triple book like the clients' time isn't valuable. Since the 2nd salon has opened it's just escalated and prices skyrocketed... a month ago Hauppague soft opening was $15 more for same service in Nesconset. Today it was $25 more. Insane.
