The New Baltimore Service Area is a great stop and a clean service area accessible from I-87 in both directions. The modern structure has high ceilings, abundant light, and is meant to handle high volumes. Everything is super clean and well-maintained, with cleaning staff constantly on their rounds and great, clean restrooms featuring convenient hand dryers. There are plenty of food options and a handful of restaurants to sit and enjoy, including Chick-fil-A, Shake Shack, Panera Bread, Starbucks, and an Applegreen convenience store. It is noted that Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays. Outside, there are two Mobil gas stations, though the pumps can be incredibly slow. The area offers ample parking and several electric vehicle charging stations. A welcome feature is the play area for kids outside the main building. Overall, it is a fantastic, comfortable stop with fast service and a welcoming atmosphere for the whole family.
Clean rest stop with plenty of seating. Keep in mind Chick-fil-A is closed on sundays and the Panera bread is always got something broken (in today’s case it was the swipe reader on the kiosk terminal nearest the cashier. Seriously, never go to the Panera bread.
