“Croton Animal Hospital has taken care of my pets, one dog and three cats, for 25 years. They have all been wonderful!! Dr Gustavson has been their primary vet and has been very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate!! He has helped me with diabetic care of two cats who have been on insulin, which has not always been easy, and two cats with IBD. He has always been available for me with all my questions and need for guidance.
He is a fantastic vet and I will always go to him.

“I wanted to express my thanks for the patience, kindness, humor, and love with which you treated our dog, Amber, during her bout with ear infections and an elevated level in her liver. My little darling was impossible. She would growl, squirm, and refuse treatment both at home and at your office. Dr. Moore and Amy were absolutely wonderful with a difficult dog in an impossible situation. They were confident that we would not need to sedate Amber and used a calming room, gentle encouragement, and firm restraint to get Amber the help she needed. I feel like we have our dog back, both physically and emotionally.

For 16 years, my dog never got the compassion he truly deserved—most vet offices felt cold and impersonal. Near the end of his life, I reached out here. Even though we weren’t patients, they listened, offered advice, and followed up to check on him.
When it was time, I brought him in. I was sitting on the floor with my dog, and Dr. Simon came in and sat down on the floor next to us. She immediately showed more empathy and attention than any vet I’ve ever met. She teared up and wanted to hear all about his life.
We laughed, we cried, and I left heartbroken—but deeply grateful.”

“I brought my parakeet Seamus to Dr. Weiner. He was totally honest and said he didn't treat a lot of birds except for nail and beak trims and referred me to an Avian Vet. Dr. Weiner did not charge me for the appointment even though he did exam Seamus.”
