This is the only HSBC in the area left and it is run by incompetent, rude, and nasty staff members, specifically the women. This place literally inspired me to switch my bank, that's how bad it is. So glad I will never have to step foot in here ever again.

I went to do a simple money wire. I was assigned to an individual who showed absolutely the least bit of interest in helping me imaginable. No hello how are you, no smile, turned the monitor in my direction to prove a point instead of verbalizing. She was so incredibly rude, had absolutely zero social skills , no etiquette whatsoever, that I felt it was incredible that this individual was actually given a position to interact with the bank’s clientele. If I could give zero stars for effort I would.

In the handling of my fathers death, this branch never responded. Shame on you Jason Krieger. I was going to set up the estate account there since my fathers banking was with hsbc, but they literally never called us back after two attempts at reaching them. Having no time for incompetence, I took my business to another bank that happily took care of us the same day we called them. A simple returned phone call would prevent reviews and feelings like these.

I've been calling for over an hour - No one answers the phone here. How is this branch still operational???

Zero star for charging $50 a month for a service fee without notification. Local locations closed and it's an inconvenience to drive 35 minutes to the closest branch

If I could give zero stars, I would. Or even negative. We have been doing business banking with HSBC for over 40 years and they have downgraded their services so much so, that it is truly a hassle to continue to do business with them. We are slowly placing our accounts with other banks which still have a human aspect. They under-vamped their locations. There is one branch: this branch on all of Long Island. They removed the teller booths and security deposit boxes. They made a ton of private offices which are mostly empty. It looks as though their employees are getting paid to do nothing 90% of the time. They have a door with a guard rail/tape so you can't even walk up to it. You have to wait for someone to come out to collect your deposits or whatever it is you want them to take care of. They always ask for me to separate my slips because they're too lazy to look and see how many are there. Seriously??? They always take so long for a few deposits. There is no more drive thru unless you use the ATM. All personable relationships are gone. The staff are rude. There was one person there who has been helpful as best he can towards clients despite the situation there. Everyone complains. There is always a mega wait whether there is a line or no line. For example, 3 deposits with one check per deposit is equivalent to a 30 minutes wait.Even the online access is a pain. For one, our office does not have access and I continuously get the run around from our business banking manager, and customer support and tech support. They used to have a security guard on duty but he was rude and racist AF. I haven't seen him recently, so maybe they did something about that. This is a dead end bank if you ask me. I would highly recommend another bank local to your area with a more human and transparent experience. I've heard from someone else that Chase Bank is starting to do similarly to HSBC. So, choose wisely.Oh and one more thing - when they merged with Citizen's Bank they moved everyone who didn't have over $100K in their personal bank account over to Citizen's Bank instead of allowing them to have a choice of which bank they'd prefer to continue with. Money hungry HSBC. They're so big of a bank that one's income should not matter and they should want to keep all of their clients as well!!! This is nuts!

The only thing that greets you, is a line to who knows where. I guess the line leads to tellers around the lobby corner. No signage of any sort or bank personnel to direct you for anything.Exactly the reason why this branch gets all the one stars. Please HSBC, sell this branch also if you cannot manage it properly.

This is just the worst place you could ever Bank. Everything is an issue, there is no convenience at all. They do not want you as a customer. I would highly suggest not banking here with all the other options available

I went to talk to an officer. There was no one to receive you. I just sat there waiting and waiting. Most definitely a very terrible way to run any business.

The construction is an inconvenience but at least they're open. They went from 3 tellers to 1

My wife and I walked into this branch to do a wire transfer. Giscard helped us and was very knowledgeable and tentative to his job. We were in and out in 30 minutes , the experience was great!

This bank is terrible, not only did I drive here from an hour away for them to tell me that they will not cash a check for me that was written on their check to me (a contractor) and when I asked why they told me they don’t deal with people that don’t have an account with them. Then I told the lady ok then I want to open an account and she immediately shamed me saying I need 75,000 dollars to open up an account! this location is very unprofessional and it’s no wonder that all of their branches are closing all over the place I’m very unsatisfied and would advise anyone considering to open an account at HSBC to not bother as they obviously are not looking out for their clients, now I have to drive back to my customer and have them pay in cash I wish I could give less then a star!!!

Since this is the only HSBC bank ans I h e been a member for over 20 years. The changes that are going on are a disgrace. 1 teller left for the old days. i stayed here because they knew me. I was greeted by my name. Now only Murshada is the i lybyellee taking care of a line of people. It's a disgrace. They do not care about the " regular banking people". They are gearing up to little office to sell some bs. I will be closing all accounts here within the ne t week ans moving to another back. Very sad that they don't care

This is the worst bank in the United States. He paid for the house once, but the second time he said not to come, and asked you to send it to pay by yourself.

Does anyone pick up a phone? There is not enough staff. I have over a half million in investments with HSBC and if this is the kind of service that I can expect, I will consolidate my investments with Merrill Lynch who seem to care about their customers. It's now four hours later and still nobody picks up a phone. I already called Merrill Lynch. No excuse for this poor level of service.
