I’ve been a regular at this sobol since it opened 4 years ago. For the first time today, I purchased a mango-pineapple bowl that was completely frozen and inedible. When I went inside the workers told me that they didn’t know how to refund me and that multiple of the bowls were like that today. Very disappointed with this establishment and will be going to other locations in the future.

bowls were so fresh! i went in during my lunch period and i was so satisfied. It was the perfect granola to açaí ratio and the perfect amount of fruit and honey. i ordered a classic with nutella and cookie butter. Honestly this place is great and i love it here.

I have been a Sobol customer for years, ordering 2-3 bowls a week. New Hyde park location is hands down THE WORST location I have ever been too. It is run by teens without any adult supervision. I tried called repeatedly to speak to the manager about the refund that I was assured had been issued, but never showed up on my card. The manager is NEVER there, doesn't return the phone calls and teens are rude and the last one I spoke to hung up on me. Absolutely unacceptable!!! I thought Sobol had higher standards for their franchisees.

First time trying an Acai Bowl. It tastes pretty good, nice and cold. Place looks a bit depressing though.

New ownership is horrible. They’re always opening late, shakes are not consistent, the neighborhood has supported this business with old owners for years. New owner needs to get more mature staff.

I just went there at 8:08am to get an açai bowl but the door was locked. The sign on the door says they open up at 8 o'clock during the week.

This place is so good! I go here all the time when I am in need of something refreshing or a healthy pick me up meal. I have never been dissapointed getting a bowl from here and the staff are so friendly and helpful! When I am unsure of what to pick they always give me suggestions which lead to me trying new things!! I am very satisfied with the service and food at this location.

People behind the counter were friendly and approachable. I came on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. More take outs than sit ins. Reasonably priced and absolutely delicious!! Refreshing to have after the gym.

Need something better then paper bags so when your food is apparently stacked on top each other with all that weight it doesn’t rip right through. Cheap bags need something better if you want to have multiple items. Thanks for a $50 freaking meal cause I have to reorder now.

This is the worst location I've been too. A bunch of teens with no supervision. My order was wrong. The fruit in my açaí bowl tasted like it was canned fruit and not fresh. I will stay away from this location.

Looked so good I decided to use my $10 rewards. Bought it for $1.36 & as soon as I wanted to enjoy my bowl before my evening shift I find a lovely long piece of hair in it with my first scoop I feel some type of way now
