The Abode is such an amazingly healing place. As you start driving up there, you feel like how can somebody live here but once you spend a night there, the quiet nature of woods will take your heart. It’s so relaxing to be away from the city noise. Worth the visit.

Generous, kind and nurturing space provided by the staff at the Abode. Last summer, I was invited to stay with my daughter for a few nights during her retreat stay. We both enjoyed the clean, comfortable rooms and deliciously prepared healthy meals. But mostly we cherished our time getting to know the staff who lovingly provided a warm environment of peace, knowledge and support.

I have had the extreme pleasure of being at the Abode for both women focused events and recovery events. The staff is more than accommodating. They are warm and welcoming. They take care of your needs long after you have left and they provide a much needed space for rest and peace in this ever increasing turbulent world. I recommend them highly!

Acres of magical forest, hills, streams and a pond make a gorgeous setting for this inspiring eco-village and spiritual community, open to all seekers and visitors. The Sunday morning Universal Worship service honoring all faiths is followed by a yummy brunch.
