It had many genres , not really kid friendly. Cute shop... not really what we were looking for. Also parking is tough in the area ( not the shops fault , just a quick heads up).

This is my favorite book store! Lots of books about local history, art, spirituality, etc. Every visit was a time well spent and I often ended up discovering some new books I was interested in. Will def come back when I am in town!

My visit was within the past month of this post. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo at this time. No matter- the bookstore is adorable and charming. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will return soon to purchase a used book!

One of the longest operating bookshops in the area, Barner Books is close to the Shawangunk Mountains, SUNY New Paltz and all the delights of the Mid-Hudson Valley.
