About Bobo's Farm
Bobo’s Farm is a unique family-run restaurant that offers a natural and cultural experience. Located in a beautiful countryside setting, visitors can enjoy Mongolian yurts, a pet and children’s playground, a Mahjong room, and a KTV for entertainment. The farm specializes in Mongolian and Northeastern cuisine, with signature dishes like roasted whole lamb and iron pot stewed goose made from fresh local ingredients. Due to the large size of the roasted lamb (around 35 pounds), reservations should be made at least one week in advance for groups of at least eight people. Guests have praised the warm and welcoming staff, who accommodate large parties comfortably in spacious, well-heated yurts with wooden floors and good ventilation. Inside, visitors can enjoy traditional activities such as karaoke and trying on Mongolian outfits, creating a fun and immersive experience. The grounds are scenic, especially in winter, with visible meat hanging and cooking pits, adding to the authentic farm atmosphere. While the food is highly recommended, some reviews noted that service issues, like delayed rice and outdoor-style bathrooms, could be improved. Overall, Bobo’s Farm offers a memorable experience, combining good food, cultural activities, and a cozy countryside environment.

Everyone comes for the roast lamb but the sides are definitely the highlight. They have mahjong and karaoke for entertainment and delicious side dishes, tofu, tofu skin, sauerkraut stew, pickled long beans with minced pork were some of the highlights. It's very out of the way but I'd make my way out again at some point.
