Jacks Meats & Deli is a wonderful family owned business that has been a local treasure for 32 years. It is widely considered the best butcher around, providing excellent food and the best tasting meats. The shop offers high quality, ethical, and always fresh products including organic chickens, various cuts of beef, pork, delicious lamb chops, and the best Thanksgiving turkeys. The ground beef tastes more like steak. It is also a great place for locals and tourists, functioning as a general store with a good selection of market items like deli meats, toiletries, medicine, snacks, drinks, candy, spices, and beer. They sell almost everything, with many useful options not normally seen at convenience stores. Sandwiches are pretty cheap and delicious. The owner is a very friendly man who provides kindness, humor, and cooking advice. The shop is very cluttered but clean. While the cost is a bit higher than supermarkets, it is worth every penny for the awesome quality and great service. It is highly recommended to call ahead to prepare orders. New Paltz has a treasure in Jacks Meats and Deli.

10/10 Everytime, Im a vegetarian and this is my go to spot for food when im on the go. Food comes out fresh and fast, never had my order messed up and my favorite order to get is the Falafel over rice with onions & avocado which i got again today and had to take a pic it was so fire

Hands down the best prime cuts in the area. I recommend their ribeye and ny strip.
