i had a terrible experience when i went to buy paint. i asked the person at the paint counter what he would recommend and he was extremely condescending and made me very uncomfortable, as he asked about my age and told me he would know if i was lying to him about "throwing parties" in the room i was painting. i am a younger woman and simply needed a recommendation on what type of paint to get. overall a very uncomfortable and weird interaction, and i will not be going back.

Great locally owned hardware store 'small business' and several convenient locations. Use them before Lowe's and Home Depot if you can.
