It's not uncommon to have good customer service at time of sale but after sale is what really differentiate companies.After receiving a cord of firewood I left a message complaining that wood is not burning well, Fred called me same day, they were more anxious then me to correct the problem.They came, replaced all the wood with no question asked. Wood burning great.

I have been buying firewood from Fred for the last 5 years. My experience with Fred has been great from my first phone call and on. He is always very nice on the phone and do his best to accommodate. Delivery always on time, great price and great quality product. They also pack the wood for you in your garage if you need to. This is way cheaper than buying little packs from super or petrol station. Keep the good work Fred!!!

We've been ordering cords from Fred's for 4 years now. The wood is high quality hardwoods and always well seasoned. It is cut into generally consistently sized pieces.The first year, we opted to stack the wood ourselves and it was more difficult than we had planned. So each year after that, we've had Fred's employees stack it for us and they always do a tidy and well-organized job.We use the wood in both our indoor fireplace and our outdoor fire pit. As long as we live within the delivery radius, we'll be ordering from Fred's.

My husband and I got a new fire pit in our yard. We ordered a half cord for the summer in June- lasted through to August. Fred’s firewood was easy to deal with, very friendly and professional. Will be ordering more for fall fire pit nights!

Most professional service ever.Ordered several cords of firewood for my shop in Westchester. They delivered as promised. The delivery guy was most professional, courteous and represented his employer with great respect. I have referred Fred’s firewood too more people than I can count on two hands. FYI, no answering machine here, they answer the phone.

The wood burns great, the prices were best that I found and delivery was quick and seamless. A pleasure to order from and accommodating to our needs. Inquiry was answered quickly by their contact portal, but calling was even quicker.

Fred's Firewood is categorically the best, most honest, firewood supplier in Southern Westchester. I have bought cords of firewood for many years in Westchester. Not one single supplier ever provided me with an honest cord....until I found Fred's Firewood. I stack my wood the correct way...enough space to allow air circulation...but overall very tightly. Fred's quantity has always been exactly what it should be...with a few pieces to spare, at a fair price. Every other vendor I have used over the years shorted the quantity by 10-20%. Plus, Fred's wood is reasonably seasoned, split well, and composed of quality hardwoods. I highly recommend Fred's.

I mistakenly received a half cord of green wood instead of seasoned wood. The wood was not burning properly, so called Fred to explain what happened. The next day Fred was at my house to apologize for the mistake, and personally swapped the wood out. Most companies would have made an excuse, but Fred personally made it right...

We ordered a half cord last year and the wood was well seasoned and burned great. We're going with a full cord this year so we have additional wood to burn outdoors and indoors this fall and winter. Good service and fast delivery on the day you want. Highly recommended!
