Manager can’t make a manage her business. I applied recently for a sales associate position in hopes that I’d be a good fit considering I have 2 years of doorman, concierge, and porter experience under my belt along with a pursuing degree in cybersecurity. I got call in for an interview and to my delight the manager found me to be a “good candidate for the position”. The interview went well. I waited 1 week since the interview for a call back. I eventually called and I was told to wait longer and that the manager was still interviewing more candidates. More time went on and I got the same response. And today was my last call with them. I was told directly from the manager to “go find other work” and that there’s a current issue regarding the payroll, and that 2 more candidates are being reviewed for the same position I applied for. Once I heard those words, I began to think that all that flattery was like getting a kid hyped up for Christmas only to find nothing. If the manager reads this, thanks for wasting my time. Hopefully future candidates don’t go through what I went through.

my name is Debbye Grados and I been shopping more then 10 years in marshalls in New Rochelle , on 12/19/2024 like always went to shop , I found a yellow dress that I like it a lot but had some stains and something with the fabric , so I ask the casher if I could get some discount or lower the price since I got in love with the dress , she ask the manager on duty the night. , and she said NO , we showed her and she clearly told me "go home and wash it , will come off " I was ok ill and if doesn't come then ill come back to get the discount , she was very rude also the way she told to me also with the cashiers very disrespectful, never had no issue when I ask for a discount in a item is rip or stain always got the discount as a costumer for years the manager was very rude her deal with one like her , her name is Jennifer Chee . so after holidays I wash the dress took it to dry cleaner never came off the damage on the fabric , went back and ask for discount a very nice chaser # 1212 I explain to her she said got tell her I was like I don't want to talk to her because seems like that she has always actitud dealing with costumer and she's rude always treat the casher bad in front of me with her actitud , people like her shouldn't be working in marshalls or any retails the way she treat costumers and s cashiers . and the end they only gave me 2 dollars of discount the dress was 29.99 plus taxes after the discount the dress Was 28.00 , so the 10% the gave . i have to paid a dry cleaner waist my gasoline my time to get $ 2 from this manager also deal with her attitude I am very disappointed about this situation no also about the way she treat me and also the cashiers no only now I witnessed she's been rude with others cashiers I other couple occations , like I said before I always go to marshalls like 3/4 days a week . hope ill never see this manager in my life . any questions can reach me out have a great day

The staff at this location do an amazing job at keeping this store organized and clean! They are also really helpful. This location is definitely my go to location. I mostly visit this site for the HomeGoods dept.

Both Marshalls and Home Goods are well-stocked and organized. The lines are long at times, but there’s usually a lot of friendly and hardworking cashiers available.

Marshalls furniture is stylish by popular brands for reasonable prices. I love their artwork and glassware.

I went there on Sunday. I had an item to return! To be exact, a $14.99 item that was purchased on Friday but unfortunately I couldn’t find my receipt and went there hoping to get help. First off, I went with the item without a bag. Figured, I purchased the item and didn’t bag it when I left the store so didn’t see the issue. Big mistake. These people in this store, including the people of color (shame on those employees) targeted me and the lady assumed that I must’ve taken the item because she had to “check it” to make sure it was coming from the store. The item came up in their system, but they were trying to have me return it for store credit of $12.99 instead of the $14.99 plus tax I paid! I figured, this employee doesn’t know much so I asked for the manager. I specifically said manager. Why does the employee get the coordinator? Same story, and I said I understand but I paid $14.99 plus tax two days ago and now you want to give me less than what I paid just because I don’t have my receipt? But, the sticker was intact and nothing indicate the item was purchased at “sale price”. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager was just standing there and he heard when I first asked for a manager from the employee. The manager’s name is Paul. He proceeded to come over and I attempted to explain the situation. His condescending response “what did my employees tell you? That’s what goes.”Who in their right mind speaks to people like that in customer service field? I never spoke to this person/‘manager (Paul) in a disgusting way. I continue to explain while I understand the policy because I read it from Marshall’s website NOT PAUL’s website. This is Marshall’s policy on the company’s website:“Standard Return Policy for Items Purchased in StoresOur customers continue to be our top priority. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, return the merchandise accompanied by a register receipt within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund in the original form of tender. A 10-day period is required for a cash refund on check purchases. Returns with a receipt over 30 days, with a gift receipt or without a receipt will receive merchandise credit only. Merchandise credits are subject to the Terms and Conditions printed thereon and imposed by the issuer which may include restrictions on transfers.A valid government issued photo ID, name, address, and signature are required for non-receipted returns and may be required for use of the resulting merchandise credit. Any name printed on the merchandise credit must match the name on the photo ID presented or the merchandise credit may not be used. A customer signature may also be required for receipted returns. To learn about how we use and handle your information, please see our Privacy Notice.”Please note that it doesn’t read anything about returns without receipt will be given credit at reduced price. Where is that Paul? No where. The point is this manager was rude and not willing to put a customer as a priority. I refuse to return the item at that location and told them I would not return it. I took my item without the receipt to BETTER MANAGED MARSHALLS (Cross county) who did the same procedure expect they honor the price I paid! I was credited the correct amount. What did Paul teach me? Use the e-mail receipt option to avoid the condescending attitude of the Marshalls manager at this location by the name of PAUL & just shop else where. Paul, my eye rolling was meant for the stupidity that came out your mouth.
