The New Dawn Foundation is a phenomenal organization that provided our spiritual group a space to host a retreat on Kabbalah. We rented the venue for just the weekend, and the volunteers (particularly Nnacy) who run this organization were very prompt to reply to any and all questions I had about the space leading up to our event. We comfortably hosted 14 people in the space, although this worked well because we knew each other going in and had a few couples sharing beds.Thank you New Dawn for all the work you all do in order to create affordable opportunities for young adults like us to engage in spiritual retreats! At the end of our time together participants went around in a Circle and shared gratitude, and so many people included the venue as something they were grateful to experience over the weekend.Can't recommend this venue enough. I'm attaching a sketch that one of our retreat participants drew of the stunning sunrise.

The New Dawn Foundation treated us so well! A spectacular setting that our group was so looking forward to as a base and retreat for our team. When our event was unexpectedly cancelled by its organizers (out of our control!), the folks at New Dawn were very thoughtful and helped us tremendously in the midst of a difficult situation. First class people for sure! We hope to come back.

The people at New Dawn Foundation are the best. Our team was really looking forward to our time there, but the organizers of the event we were attending unexpectedly cancelled it. The New Dawn team was very kind and thoughtfully worked through the issues with us. We hope to be able to come back soon!

I have been participating in events at the New Dawn Foundation for a number of years and have stayed over on more than one occasion. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to spend time in such a beautiful and peaceful place. The house is charming and warm, the grounds are well tended, and the people are thoughtful, kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat on the sound. My family and I spent a delightful week at the New Dawn Foundation. This Estate Home is a work of art that felt incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The setting was both cozy and private yet spacious enough to host our family gathering. All appliances and kitchen worked well. The management was kind and helpful from the booking to after our departure. We have excellent memories thanks to this beautiful property.

We rented the New Dawn for a Memorial Service for my family. It was the perfect, peaceful, soothing location for our family to gather together. The old house was a lot of fun to explore and the views were spectacular. The kitchen is old but well equipped with enough cooking utensils and dinnerware. There was an AC in the kitchen as well as a ceiling fan so even in the summer heat we were comfy. The house was clean and well supplied with towels, linens, etc. It should be noted though that the house is over 100 years old and certain things cannot be modernized but that's what adds to its beautiful historic charm.

What a shame...such a lovely property (although quite old and needs lots of renovations, leaks, outlets do not work) but people who are running it are total scammers. They lure you in to book directly from them by giving you 15% discount and then make up all kinds of stuff to not return your $1000 security deposit. I have been renting properties for a few years for my women's group and never had an issue with anyone, excellent rating on airbnb! These people apparently spilled bleach or Clorox on the old filthy linoleum floor after we checked out (what a great way to have renters pay for much needed renovations), nitpicking on breadcrumbs left on the counter (after charging $300 cleaning fees) in a desperate attempt to keep the deposit. The most obnoxious thing ever is that they do not even tell you how much of your deposit they are keeping but rather keeping the whole thing without evidence and repair receipts and then trying to negotiate how much you are willing to give them. This is truly unheard of and totally illegal. I have emails with evidence and witness statements now to take this to court. I am convinced they practice this scam frequently.
