The slowest gas station ever. Probably in all of the USA. To fill 15 gallons it took 20 mins. No joke. And. The pump didn’t stop and the gas’s overflowed. Never had that happen before either.

I think this station just changed the flat tire on my son's Hyundai. For $10. I am very grateful as I was 90 minutes away. Thanks to whoever helped him and I highly recommend this station to motorists.

I had an issue with one of my tires and brought it to Chris' which was recommended to me by my co-workers. Pedro was very friendly and helpful. I had my car back and tire repaired within a few hours. I definitely recommend them!

They are very knowledgeable and honest and charge a reasonable price for parts and labor. Took my car there to have brakes checked and they said pads were fine, come back in six months. No charge. They have repaired transmissions; engines; front ends and steering for me on many different cars and I have had no problems.

I have been going here for several years for relatively minor auto repairs. They know auto mechanics and they are honest. However, they have absolutely no clue about how to handle their paying customers. They do not call back, despite promises. When you call them, the guy who answers the phone has no idea what is going on. In all likelihood, you will not hear much until the job is half-completed, or more! It is almost impossible to plan your time around these guys. It takes a leap of faith to do business here. The 'not knowing' will drive you nuts, but they ultimately do a good job in a timely fashion, and you will not get ripped off.

insulting and idiotic "service" from the fat lazy jackass behind the counter. 2 cars, premium fuel, they will never get another penny from me. what a d*** way to run a business, by having ignorant, insulting employees...

Aside from being a little rough around the edges with respect to social interaction, these guys do good work. In response to Michael K's comments about outsourcing work to other shops, this is a pretty standard practice, even at dealerships who routinely send cars out to no-name shops all over the area. I took my Audi to the dealership in Manhattan and when I cam back a day later to get something out of it, it wasn't there. I ended up tracking it down in a hole in the wall in the south Bronx, who by the way, did awesome work. All the white glove stuff you see is just window dressing - fixing cars is a dirty job. Chris and his crew just don't bother with the window dressing, but they still do good work.

Called to see if they do wheel alignments since I just had new tires put on at Costco. The man answering the phone said yes. I showed up and dropped off my car, was told it would take 2 hours but hey would call me. Even though they didn't call back yet, I came back 2 and half hours later. I live very close by. The guy told me he said he would call and to go back home. Excuse me? That rubbed me the wrong way so I gave them a piece of my mind. Then, as I'm walking around trying yo cool off, my car is nowhere to be found. I ask the guy where my car is and he said it's coming. I asked him where and he didn't answer my question, just walked away. 15 minutes later I see my car coming down Boston Post Road, turning in. The mechanic that drove it in handed me the wheel alignment readout and kept walking. I asked him where my car was and he said "the other shop." I said where is the other shop, he said, "the other shop we have." They refused to tell me where my car was. I was so heated I just left but now that I think about it, I wonder if any alignment was actually done on my car. How was the car miraculously done after I started asking questions about why my car wasn't ready after 3 hours? I've had service done here before but they were always rude, which I didn't care for much. However, dishonesty and misrepresentation are a whole 'nother set of issues that can't be left alone. I hope this review deters others from coming here. And on another note, I live in the neighborhood behind this shop and these guys know that. But they treat me with disrepect and scorn. We residents never liked the fact that they use Emerson Ave like their own commercial parking lot, parking customer cars up and down the street but these guys don't have a care. And the way they treated me, I'm not surprised at all. So much for being a part of the community you work in.
