Rentals were in parking lot. Instead of bringing up the car, had to walk in the cold and in the rain. No umbrella. Traveling so no room to pack one. Didn't expect that long of a walk. Left my sunglasses in the car. Called & they found them. Made arrangements with them to have them shipped to me. Paid for shipping a box there & pre-paid for one to come back to me. All they had to do was put the sunglasses in the box & drop off. Guess someone there is wearing my expensive sunglasses. Out of the money to pay for them shipped & shipped back. Called and always told, they were just mailed. No tracking information available when I check. Gave me a round around. Jerks!

The one on 17 k Horrible experience! They changed workers, this place used to be a pleasure and I was treated with respect spent s THOUSANDS renting from here, they’ve gone WAY down hill!!

Wish I could rate separately the onsite agent and the customer service agents over the phone. The onsite agent was amazing. Prior to going into this location I called & spoke to 2 different agents & inquired regarding their discount for Geico's customers (Geico referred me to them) & neither could provide me with any information, i was told that the agents at the counter would be able to assist. I asked for the phone call to be transferred to this location since I didn't want to take an Uber to this location and show up without knowing this information, but the agent refuse to transfer the phone call & abruptly ended the call. After showing up at this location the very nice and friendly agent informed me that this specific location was unable to process the discount but that another location was able to do so. It is a shame that I had to show up in person at a location in order to get a response that a customer service agent should be able to answer over a phone call and not waste my time.

Alex was superb, we had a seamless and quick experience - the car was just as expected, and he was kind and caring about our experience. Couldn't ask for anything better! Will use enterprise again solely due to Alex! Thank you.

Stewart airport enterprise had the best customer service out of all of my rental car experiences so far. Alex was the manager there, and he deserves a reward from the company. :)

Worst experience!!! Reserved a car back in December and got a great deal and now they call me to tell me they cancelled my car because it’s too cheap!!!!!!?

I have had one of the worst experiences with them to date with any company. I reserved a mini van through booking. Com with enterprise . We are going on a 8 day road trip with the kids so i need a mini van to fit everything and everyone. I booked it almost 2 months ago. I get there and i was told they overbooked the mini vans and larger suv's by over 50 more than they actually had available and they cancelled my reservation without telling me. The area manager spoke to me and told me they had no contact information for me so they couldn't call or email to tell me. HOW DO YOU NOT HAVE CONTACT INFO FOR ME WHEN I HAD TO FILL OUT A MILLION LINES OF INFORMATION WHEN I BOOKED IT? well she insisted there was no info even thou When i looked at my rental agreement it was all there! I then asked her if i could get a mini van from another enterprise close by and she said she did not know i would have to go to another and rebook it "at the going rate". U mean to tell me i would be paying double the price?! She continued and said "at the going rate". So i lookd it up. To get s mini vsn would cost me almost $1000 because it was for the same dsy when i had gotten it for $440! What a joke. So i went over to the avis/budget counter and they gave me a minivan with 500 miles on it-brand spanking new- and for $400!! Oh and they told me that enterprise apparently does this often. So thry have lost my business and whoever i can tell of my experience because thats disgusting. I wouldn't be able to go on vacation without a mini van and/or if i had to pay more for it. Budget saved the day for us and for that i will be a loyal customer!

Wednesday I arrive at Newark airport. They don’t do the check list- I drive upstate NY discover my passenger side window doesn’t work. It start raining, I get to my friends house we cover the window. The next day we call (3) different enterprise co., monticello, Middletown ‘ Newburg. No one had solutions. We head to Stewart airport where there’s no one at the booth. We enter the airport, enterprise counter finally someone tells us to drop off key at drop box & come back into terminal for new car. Horrendous I will never use enterprise again- the Newburg location didn’t have details like, drop off keys & go to the airport counter. Uninformed total incompetence . Wasted a whole morning dealing w this & not w my friend

Enterprise is almost always a disaster regardless of location, but the one at Stewart is a true headache. First, be aware that you have to go to the terminal of the airport to check-in and then walk from the terminal back to the car lot to actually pick the car up. And because there aren’t enough employees at this location to actually have one walk with you to the car, if there are any issues (key doesn’t work, car has been smoked in, etc), you then have to walk all the way back the terminal, stand in line, and start all over again. I also particularly hate that there isn’t a local phone number for you to call - all calls get routed through the main system with call attendants that have NO information about specific locations. It’s a mess. Find a better system.

My fiancé made a reservation through their app for a car to take us from PA back home to FL. Since the Enterprise at this airport location was closed the day he made the reservation, he called the next closest one just to make sure everything would be good to go for the rental. The lady he spoke with was helpful and even changed our reservation time for us so we could give the Stewart airport more time to get our car ready for us after they opened. The day of our reservation we took a taxi to the airport from our hotel, which cost us $100, and upon arrival they tell him he can’t pick the car up because he doesn’t have a plane ticket. Throughout the entire process online and even speaking to someone at a nearby airport we weren’t informed of their new policy. Even while making the reservation it asked if he had a plane ticket to which he put down that he didn’t and it still let him go through the process. They refused to give him a car even though we had a reservation and noticed several other people had the same issue of being able to make a reservation just to find out they weren’t able to pick up the car. We were stuck at the airport for several hours trying to call nearby Enterprises to see if any had available cars for that day and a lot of times were transferred to the reservation/escalation dept. and everyone we spoke to also noticed there was nothing on their end specifying that only ticketed customers were being served at the location we were at. We were finally able to find a car but for the following day and have them price match our new reservation to our old one at a different airport location. This location should really put it in their app/website that they are not renting cars to any customers unless they have a plane ticket so other people don’t have to go through what we went through! I understand why they might have this new policy in place at the moment but at least put it somewhere on your website so your customers can see.

Wow Enterprise is terrible!!!! Stranded my wife and me on the side of rt80 for 3 hours. We had to make our own calls to get off the highway safely and get a way home. Rent from another 100%

Manager or counter boy at stewart airport is a tool. Rude and when asking about a rental very dismissive like I was bothering him.
