PROFILED AT TARGET 225th st BY EMPLOYEE NAME EVA AT SELF CHECKOUT Today I had a terrible experience at target on 225th st. I went to target with my little sister who has a get together with her friends tonight and wanted to find a cute outfit. Never would I have imagined that we would be profiled. My sister tried on different size outfits in the fitting room excited for her event. We waited in line at self checkout and an employee name EVA told us to get off the self checkout line and go to the registers if we have more than 10 items. I didn't see her asking anyone but my sister and I. Her focus was solely on us. I explained to another employee me and my sister have separate items so we are basically two different customers and the other employee didn't have an issue she let us use self checkout. Employee Eva returns and states wow I told u both if it's 10 or more u can't use self check out she proceeded to SAY OVER THE WALKIE IN FRONT OF OTHER GUEST PLEASE WATCH THE REGISTER THEY ARE USING. I have witness who can attest to this. She kept telling us to get off self check after I had already paid for my items. This was very unprofessional , She made us seem like as if we were stealing. I told her she can watch us checkout if she is suspicious of anything and she stated in front of other customers " I have to watch other people". Making everyone feel uncomfortable. I even showed my receipt to the other employee of my purchase and I told EVA that and she didn't seem to care. I then was able to speak to the manager and she also admitted that was unacceptable I also reported this incident to corporate. I would have never imagined this would happened to me and my little sister I really hope this matter is addressed and no other customer have to experience this. This was humiliating and embarrassing. I will make sure that this matter gets known I am close with people in the industry who have a supportive large audience. I want to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. I feel like Hispanic and African Americans are usually targeted in these business and it's time for a change. We are all equal and l work very hard for my earnings working in the medical field to experience this behavior from an employee at target.Target needs to follow up and address these behavior. Thank you to the store manager who apologized for Eva behavior.

Target advertises free 2 day shipping. After checkingout the delivery date update to the actual number of days. In this case 2 became 6 day shipping

This is the worst Target to shop at the manager are like headless chickens the don't seem to know nothing all the do is stand up gossiping and most of the employees can't even speak English. Also this store have no diversity in it all you see is Hispanic no Indian no Chinese a few black. One of the manger Tito thinks he is a model he has horrible customers service.

I found shopping in this store to be a kafka-esque experience. It reminded me of the futility of life...

I love that Target took the plunge and came toThe Bronx over 20 years ago! We are a hidden gem. I love shopping at Target - I don't care for the layout of this one and the wasted timeto check out. I know businesses have to update their look but why fix it if it isn't broken I say. They've changed it so a lot of things are no longer carried in store such as sewing machines (bought one for my mom a few yrs ago). Love the updated clothing for women and kids. I just purchased a huge vacation clothing haul for 7 days in Mexico. The express check out is a nightmare as only 4-5 machines are working at one time. If you plan on running in for a quick item because you are pressed for time - think again. The employees are all pleasant and knowledgeable but I can't help but think they need more cashiers along with stronger leadership and/or management.

Great shopping option in New York City. Good food grocery options. Full store selection for everything!

What can I say? it's a Target! The self check out lines move quickly even when there's a crowd so I've never had to wait in line for a long time (maybe 5 mins max).I've noticed that the selection of Lego kits in this store seems to have a great selection of models.Only negative is that like a lot of stores during ongoing pandemic is that there are occasional inventory issues with empty shelves, but nothing major so I'd give a 4.5/5 if I could give half stars.

FYI: If you return an item with a TAG on but no receipt and it's past the 90 day mark, just write to target on their website! The manager Ashly clearly has no sense and will deny you a store credit! You will get your store credit if you tell your issue to a REAL manager

I called this target riverdale bronx just to ask for a specific item that was in stock however the person on the phone cut me off and went on a rant on how this target is the #2 store and we have a policy not to disclose inventory. i don't care what target is higher on the hierarchy but I was able to get what i wanted at another target who was respectful and generous to tell me they have stock and held one for me. I will never shop at this River dale target ever!!!

It's Target's policy to wear masks. Employees have them pulled down. Customers have them pulled down. There's no enforcement at all. Hate coming here. I have been ordering for drive up only, as this location has a big problem with customers acting like people, not animals. Every time I go in here people are fighting, screaming, kids running up and down the aisles ignoring everyone asking them to stop. Masks are required only for employees, but most have them pulled down. Most customers have them pulled down. Woman on line was screaming at me, then she & her daughter kept mocking me for wearing a mask and asking them to pull up theirs or to step back from me - they kept coming up to me and fake coughed at me and then laughed hysterically. No one stepped in to help me. The poor employees who are wearing masks and have to deal with this. I won't be coming inside here again, would rather drive to NJ. It's insane.

Pizza Hut Mexican lady is very unprofessional you can tell she doesn't enjoy her job. I asked for chicken tenders and fries and apparently the air fryer isn't working and no chicken tenders. Mind you she looked to check if there was enough fries then proceeded to tel me the air fryer doesn't work. Why check for fries if the air fryer doesn't work? Seems to me like she's a lazy worker and it's sad to say because I've worked for similar establishments and I would never treat clients as so. Very disappointed.

Back in December my hubby bought me a new updated Keurig coffee maker after my older model started to go on the fritz. This Riverdale location was the only one that carried the "Elite" model that I had researched/decided on so we made the trek over. The Elite was on sale for $129. down from $169. so I was pretty excited to give it a try. The machine was working great for several weeks but then it started to malfunction in the same manner that my original machine did which was giving random cup size amounts no matter which cup size was selected. Fast forward to February ... I called this location & explained the situation to see if I could return for a refund. That's when the runaround began.... The person in customer service put me on hold & I believe they put me on with some kind of manager maybe from that section. I explained again that the machine was malfunctioning within just several weeks of use & since it's doing the same thing that my 3 year old model was doing I would just like to return for a full refund. Then on hold again. He comes back on (I wanna say Johan was his name) to tell me I could return it but since it was bought as a "gift" for me back in December (no mention on the receipt of any date to return by) it was past the point of returning so the best they could do was an exchange (I don't WANT to exchange it!!) or possibly a store credit but maybe NOT for the full amount. Ummm, WHAT?? I explained that I paid less for the Keurig as it was on sale so I can't imagine getting any less back than what we paid. I have never heard of such nonsense before! Seriously!! With a pandemic going on right now this was the best these people were willing to do for a customer?! Before hanging up I asked Johan if I needed to do the return at their location or could I go to one closer to where I live & he told me I'm better off going to their location since he's familiar with the situation in case any questions arise. My hubby & I got ready to go & as we got ready to drive off I said - Just for fun let's go to a location closer to us & see what happens & if it doesn't work out, we'll head back to Riverdale. So we did just that! We walked in with the machine (boxed up in the same condition I originally purchased - I wisely kept everything just in case), headed straight to the customer service desk, explained the situation & the girl behind the counter asked - so do you want to exchange it or would you like a full refund? I'd like the full refund please? And I got it. One, two, three, just like that. No questions asked! Thank you!! And a BIG NO thank you to the Riverdale location. Not sure what kinda scam you're trying to pull over there but you should be ashamed, especially during a pandemic, to treat your customers in such a manner. Never again - no thanks...

Prices scanner higher than they should. Once you realize it the cashier says, oh you gave to go to customer service so they will charge the correct price. It is always in the minority neighborhoods that get ripped off. I now take a picture of the item/s I am purchasing to prove the correct price. Management does nothing to correct the problem because it has been brought to their attention more than once!
