Adams Fairacre Farms is a special place with a huge selection of products. They have a good selection of fruits and veggies, fresh breads, cheese, and an awesome mushroom section. Their floral and nursery area is a nice bonus. They offer hot prepared foods, a salad bar, sushi, and a small place to eat. Many items are very fresh and prices are extremely reasonable. However, some reviews note inconsistencies, particularly at the Newburgh location. The vegetables can sometimes be limp or seem past fresh, and careful selection is advised. The hot food options are lacking in variety there, often featuring the same items daily. The fish department can be a smelly mess and beef cuts can be disappointing. Some dry goods may be past their date. While they don't always have all the basics, you can find unusual or higher-end items that make it worth a visit.
Just excellent- everything is great at this store! The produce is super fresh, baked goods are delicious, cheese dept is extensive, meat and deli counters are great, and the pizza is fabulous. Don't skip the garden center - the plants as well as the gardening supplies are top notch. Lastly, the customer service is wonderful.
