Chadwick Lake Park is a gorgeous gem and beautiful park in the Town of Newburgh that is kept in immaculate, clean, and safe shape. It offers miles of well-maintained walking and biking trails along the pretty lake with excellent views of the lake and forestry. There is a very large, great-looking, well-designed, and safe playground. The park provides a beautiful pavilion, many picnic tables, benches, and spots for picnics on the grass. Activities include fishing and boat rentals. It is a great place to take a peaceful walk. The restrooms are clean and good. Entry requires a pass or payment to a security guard, which adds to the safe feeling. The park is dog-friendly, though some note there can be many dogs. There is some road noise from the Thruway.
Beautiful park though only accessible by residents with a permit.

I love this lake! I've been coming here my whole life with my family and friends. It has a great hiking trail that goes around the lake. Boat rental for fishing. Playground for the kids. Lake side seats all around. Large gazebos with plenty of seating are great for kids parties! 👍👍

Wonderful 4 mile trail around the lake. Very nice playground for children with other play options nearby. Clean. Well maintained. Pavillions with picnic tables available for rent.
