Went to Lowe's in Newburgh store number 1584 Mr John in the plumbing area helped me out greatly with a problem I had with some piping in a chicken coop very knowledgeable he deserves a raise

The associate at the counter for appliances was very nice and helpful. To be clear, I have no complains with that employee. This person was obviously being hindered by the computer system. However, my wife and I shopped for a washer/dryer and the deals seemed good. We were promised delivery within 2 days. After discussion and providing all information, the delivery was over 10 days out. We asked if there was anything we could do. After about 10-15 minutes of waiting, there was no way to change it so we decided against it. We finished shopping and thought to return to see if we could decided on a different washer/dryer (we had just moved and were in need of one quickly). We chose a comparable set and purchased. We were promised next day delivery. However, after waiting around, we had to call customer service for a call that lasted 30 minutes to discover that, because they didn't collect the appropriate contact information, we were not alerted of a delay and it would be a day late. When the washer/dryer came, there was damage to a weather strip in our mud room.Edit#1: After I called the number listed in the review response, I got in contact with their customer service department. They heard my story (which was identical to my review) and after another 17 minutes on the phone, I was told that they don't know if someone will follow up. They could not promise I would ever hear from them again but that my report would be forwarded to the correct department. So after all the issues with the initial delivery, I am still kot sure that my problems will be addressed at all. I still have not heard back from anyone.

UPDATE: I _eventually_ received my washer and dryer. I was promised that it would come in the afternoon (which I requested, given my work schedule that day). The night before, they changed the schedule last minute. More, even upon my explicit instructions and requests (both to customer service and to the delivery manager over the phone), they refused to come directly to home (which was entirely possible--happens quite frequently). They required that I meet them at the gate. So I had to leave work, meet them at the gate, and escort them back to my home at a time inconvenient to me. The delivery itself was well-executed--quick and simple. But _everything_ leading up to it shows a systemic disorganization (coming mighty close to dishonesty) in carrying out deliveries.BACKSTORY: Worst delivery experience I've ever had in my life. After multiple efforts to explain via phone calls exactly how to transport my washer/dryer onto a military base, they repeatedly either disregarded my instructions and/or never returned my call. It's been well over 2 weeks, 3 failed attempts, and who-knows-how-many calls (some of which were either profoundly dismissive or deceptive). I still do not have my Washer/Dryer.Pay the extra money for a Washer/Dryer elsewhere. It's not worth the 100 bucks savings.

This is the worst storm customer service I've ever experienced. I ordered a part online, I get there and tell me the power was out in the lockers closed and can't be open so now, they tell me I can't get my part and I can't even get a refund. Then they say they have it in another store? I've got to look for it because clearly no one knows how to be actually good at your job. I gotta work for it, I can't find it and the answer is oh we dont have it sorry. one front end manager heater got nasty and caught an attitude with me. I explained to her that her customer service was terrible. She walked right over to assistant manager right in front of me in and made fun of me. This is ridiculous, I still haven't got my refund. The store manager Mike must be clueless because they have no idea what they're doing in that store. I will never shop there again this is terrible. I drove over an hour to get the part. The assistant Manager send me to another store where I have to purchase the part again and when I get there they don't haveit. Then I spend an hour on the phone waiting for customer service they can't give me my refund but offer a 15 Dollar gift card I waste 3 hours and 30 in gas. Still no refund for the part I opened an account and spent thousands and this is what I get terrible closing my account and going to the competitor. Home depot has there stuff together lowes is a rip off and a joke.

I dropped a photo that was many years old and cracked the glass in the frame. Like magic I walked in, and Rodney was manning the glass booth, cut my glass in a matter of minutes and I’m on my way. Probably one of my most satisfying Lowe’s experiences that I’ve ever had. Thanks to Rodney!

Having Lowe’s replace my decks is probably the most expensive mistake of my life. The job started in July and is not even half complete. Today I received the third monthly bill for a deck that is far from complete. And I went to Lowe’s because I believed that they were reputable. I’m sick knowing I be pay off over $34,000 for the next two years.

I’ve just moved here from Fort Lauderdale and my experience with Lowe’s has been alright. The one challenge I’ve experienced is getting glass cut for a picture frame. It requires someone who is trained. After my fourth attempt of just showing up hoping someone was there I met Nick. He was trained, he cut the glass perfectly and let me measure the glass before I left which was very comforting.

I tried to return CRAFTSMAN hand tools this store. I was told to find the exact size so I did. Brought tools to customer service and was told the model numbers are different. I explained I bought these from SEARS many years ago and now the numbers on each tool are different. They said to call CRAFTSMAN DIRECTLYLOWES BOUGHT THE RIGHTS TO THIS BRAND AND THE 100 PERCENT EXCHANGE POLICY THAT CAME WITH THIS NAME FOR YEARS. LOWES JUST WANTS TO PASS THE PROBLEM AND NOT DO WHAT THE POLICY STATES. I AM SURE THERE WILL BE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT FILED WITH LOWES LACK OF ACTION. TERRIBLE

thank you for their late hours! there are always surprises awaiting you when you least expect it at home (like a broken water main valve or clogged house water filter!) but its great to be able to find solutions at 9:30 pm when everyone else is closed! the staff is also very helpful and knowledgeable (which is such an upgrade from the slackjawed look you get from HD staff) also free lumber cuts is very helpful. great job!

Not the store I used to. Helpers are few, and the few aren't knowledgeable, they search online using their smart phone to get answers from Google. I can do it myself. HD is the same. We need to support the local hardware stores. Corporations care less for the little guys like me and many.

Not my FAV Lowe's... had us waiting a bit TOO LONG for a return, when there were plenty of workers behind the counter!Overall, once we were helped, and at checkout, the service was friendly! Also, we asked for help, in store, and we were happy with the young man who helped us!

Never again will I ever use Lowe's for anything from a paintbrush to a vacuum to a lawn mower. I ordered a lawn mower for $4000 from them in July it was delayed once and then on the 2nd rescheduled day when it was supposed to arrive I got a strange phone call stating do I want the floor model or do I want the one I paid for. I'm not even sure what that's supposed to mean. I obviously want the one I paid for the new one that's not been used, touched, or sitting outside. Unfortunately my lawn mower apparently does not exist and never arrived again. I am done with this company I already closed out my Lowe's credit card and I encourage others to close out their credit cards and have nothing to do with Lowe's for their terrible customer service nobody was able to resolve my issues. I already took 2 days off of work for a phantom lawn mower that never arrived.
