ii knew Jim McVey ong time ago. and my experience with him is, if Jim. Can't fix it.. And it's not under Warranty, through it in the Garbage because it's going to be i.pozzibld to find someone. Yup, he is. Tech Geek and shod be proud of it. He has fixed so many Receivers, TVs, high tech systems, Alarms etc. Entertainment centers And yes, even VCRs. He and his staff .Members are high skilled. He even use to fix telephones with electronics In Them. That's impressive work. Always working on the hard stuff. So glad he opened a shop years ago. He made a lot of seniors who enjoyed the music and TV life very happy. Thank you Jim McVey! For so many wonderful years of repairing. As people got older and some house bound, Ji. Even went to their homes to fix their stuff. Now that's a good man

These small, independently owned businesses always seem to impress me because they operate on honesty, integrity, and quality service. That's what separates the fly-by-nights from businesses which have been around for 30+ years. I recently damaged my flatscreen 32" LED TV, which is only a year old. Rather than buy another new one, I figured I'd try getting this one repaired. I called Mcvey Electronics twice around lunchtime, got an answering machine both times, and didn't leave a message. He took the initiative to call me back anyway, seeing that I had called, to see if he could help me with anything. Try getting Walmart or another big business to call you back. That shows quality, personable service. I spoke with the gentleman regarding the problem with my TV and explained that there was an impact strike beneath the LED screen. He was honest and up front, explaining that I could buy a new TV for around the same price it'd cost to repair this one. He could've attempted to repair it and charged me hundreds of dollars, but instead he chose to give me honest advice - and probably cost himself a repair job in the meantime. I am an electronics and radio enthusiast. I'll use Mcvey Electronics for any repair work that I ever need done, simply because his response time was fast and because he had the integrity to save me from a costly repair.

McVey Electronics have fixed my speakers, Preamplifier, and Amplifier over the last couple years. They are very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, and fairly quick with repairs. I would recommend strongly.

Worst service ever waited a whole month just so that he can tell me that he couldnt fix it and then still satyed with the money payed in advance suposedly bc he spent it in parts that took a week to arrive meaning ot took 3 weeks for him to place the part ......dont ever go to this place.
