If I could rate this Midas a 0/5 stars, I would. For all the years I’ve owned a car, I have never felt so taken advantage of. I was traveling between states and my alternator failed. Midas assured me they would take care of me and estimated the replacement to take about two hours. I agreed to have it replaced and was happy when it was finished in an hour. Lo and behold I was charged for two hours… almost $400! I spoke with the regional manager and he was very rude and unapologetically explained that this is how it works in the state of NY and to call the state if I didn’t think it was fair.
As a woman who is continuing to learn about the mechanics and maintenance of a vehicle and who has never been charged for more hours than what the work actually took, I feel cheated. Had I known this was the norm, I would have called AAA for a tow and had my trustworthy mechanic do the service work back at home.
Never again will I visit any Midas. The regional manager should also take a refresher on customer service etiquette.

I came in for a basic oil change ,sign said 34.95 ,when car was done the bill was 109 for oil change! The manager said we put synthetic oil in ALL cars ,so take Down the sign for 34.95 oil change?

My family and I were driving home to Montreal Canada when our car broke down 350 miles from home. We had it towed to the Midas in Newburgh where we were greeted by Ed & Jay. Realizing that we were vulnerable and in desperate need for help, Jay and Ed took great care of us. They explained to us that they believe the problem to be related to a connecting rod in the engine. This meant that we would likely need a new engine but since this is a known problem with Hyundai Santa Fe’s, Jay made numerous phone calls to Hyundai corporate USA/ CANADA and dealerships to try to help us.
We decided to leave the car with them and returned home to Canada in a rental car. Once home, Hyundai revealed to us that the car needed to be diagnosed at a Hyundai dealership… when i spoke with Jay i explained the situation to him. He was very understanding and refused to accept any payment from me.
Jay and Ed are good people. They could have easily taken advantage of us in a vulnerable situation but instead they guided us in in the right direction.

Let me start off with as soon as I walked through the door the exceptional service started, I was greeted immediately and it was as if i was the main priority. Absolutely amazing, not only courteous but thoughtful too. The store manager Jay and his team were thorough and went above and beyond. From giving me status updates on the work being done to my car to sticking to the time that they said it would be done by, great work by that team. My vehicle is a Fleet vehicle so I will make sure that the rest of the company knows where to go for the most exceptional and timely service. These gentleman let me drop the car off hassle free and definitely worry free. Once they notified me that the vehicle was ready, I stopped over and they made sure that I didn't have to wait to be taken care of. As soon as I walked through the door they greeted me and had all my stuff ready to go. I can't say enough about Jay and his team, but thank you!

I’m extremely satisfied with the service I get from Midas in Newburgh, from a basic oil change to adding antifreeze and freon. They are very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. The prices are reasonable, too. I have no complaints. If your vehicle needs service, stop by Midas in Newburgh!

We were on vacation driving north and ran into tire pressure issues. They took us right away and were very helpful and kind. We had young toddlers with us and they resolved our issue quickly, even though they were extremely busy.

Had an oil change, tires rotation, and state inspection done. Dropped it off at 9:30 am, it was done by 11:30 am. They send you a website link of your inspection and what they suggest for future repairs. They called me to come back, I payed with no pressure or upselling. Exactly what I wanted from my service. I'll be coming back
