Recently I took my pet to the grooming department as I always do, and never had any inconvenience until couple Saturdays ago when my son when to pick him up the lady told him that was his last visit in there that they can’t take him no more because he barks and I feel as the “PROFESSIONAL” they are, they should know what to do in those situations, I know my dog and he won’t do nothing more than just bark, but not only that, I also can’t make any further appointments for the grooming department through the app because they put that to a stop as well. I knew nothing of this until last minute as well which is very unprofessional, at least they could’ve given me like a warning or give me an opportunity for a later date where there perhaps less traffic of dogs so I can bring my dog in but I had not even any chance or warning, just told I wasn’t able to bring him back without any warning at least. I feel discriminated for the type of attitude the groomers displayed towards me and my pet especially knowing how he is and never having a problem with him until recently and randomly. I believe people working with pets should have a special training and know how to deal with different situations and any type of dog regardless.

Best local Petsmart, if you’re searching for all in one grooming basic vet needs and training also goodies for your furbabies come here they also have a cat shelter which I loved and all kinds of animals it is a must visit if you own pets

Great staff, always eager to help. A plethora of foods, toys, and accessories. A grooming station in the back. You can actually wash your dog yourself.

I have been a customer at the Newburgh site for over 20 years....yes, TWENTY YEARS. Today, I was addressed by a "new" pink haired "employee", working at register #1, in the rudest & unprofessional manner. I immediately complained to the manager, but, instead of addressing the matter with the NEW employee, his excuse was, "Oh, she's new here". WOW! Upon, my checking out, at register #2, that same pink haired "new employee" proceeded to address me, once again, unprofessionally, and ended her statement with, "your not my mother". All I could reply was, "I feel so sorry for you". I walked out, unpacked my purchase and returned to the store to give a 2nd verbal complaint to the manager, that was nowhere to be found, so I just related the message to an employer that has been working there for years. She was so apologetic & empathetic, that I felt "heard & understood" as a customer, but did I not ask her for her name unfortunately. I should have though. She was stocking up the dog food aisles and has dark brown hair & wore it a bun.
She showed such excellent customer service that was not shown to me by the pink haired "new employee" or the manager.
That said, I will continue to shop at this location, because this is MY COMMUNITY & I choose to support locally. BUT, ? PetSmart, don't fire these employees because they have obviously not been properly trained in customer service. As a Customer Service Manager, I implore you to send them & all new employees, going forward, to a "CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT" training & to NOT IGNORE or OVERLOOK this formal complaint. Thank you ?.

The employees seem to have no experience with animals being sold over there. Bought a bearded dragon, and they had no clue how to take care of it. I saw in the tank that they gave them a pot of vitamin powder and pebbles. These guys are reptiles, not dogs. We need people with experience

A go to with lots of options! From treats to collars & everything just about from A to Z. Great selection, very clean. The staff are kind & helpful if you ask them from help. Plenty of parking is a huge plus!

Had an appt.to get my dog groomed. I even got a call to confirm. I got there had to wait about 20 min passed the appt.time to even bring him into the grooming area. When I finally got into grooming I was told I would have to continue to wait. I continued to wait maybe another half hour before going back in to be told to wait. At that time I had waited all that I was gonna wait. I asked about a new appt. the next appt.I was told I could get was more than a week later. I was going away and wanted him washed/groomed before. I'll never go back due to the unprofessional way the woman in grooming acted and how I was treated as if I was bothering them for having an appt.
