Ramada by Wyndham Newburgh/West Point is a hotel that offers a mixed experience for guests. The rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with beds described as cozy. However, some guests have noted that the rooms appear dated with signs of wear. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which may improve the overall quality in the future. The hotel's amenities are a point of contention. While some guests enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, others were unable to find it or get assistance from the front desk. Additionally, the lack of an ice machine or available ice on request was a disappointment for some. The hotel's environment has also been a concern for some guests. There have been reports of strange or unsavory characters on the premises, as well as issues with noise and unsupervised children in the hallways. The hotel's use as a shelter for some individuals has also contributed to the overall atmosphere. Despite these challenges, some guests have had a positive experience, with staff being described as helpful and the hotel providing a good basic place to stay for a couple of nights. Overall, the Ramada by Wyndham Newburgh/West Point offers a mixed bag of experiences, with potential for improvement as the renovations progress.
Currently can't sleep because what is described in the other reviews is incredibly true.

I have stayed in other Ramada hotels but by far this was not up to those other, room smelled, bathroom was rusty. I guess the bullet proof glass at the front counter should of explained it all.

Don’t stay here, smoky dirty old the bed itself was clean. Everything else was old. My room was $100. It’s more like a $25 room.
