I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I’ve shopped here plenty of times and every time it gets worse . The employees are always rude and act like they don’t want to do their job or even simply answer a question. I hate to use the race card but the discrimination is at an all time high. I’m a young black female so when I was being followed the whole time I was there it was pretty obvious what was going on especially when they didn’t do that to the other females there who didn’t look like me.

Ive never felt so uncomfortable and disrespected and profiled ever in my life until i came to this location. Which i was then I was wrongly trespassed from. I recently came to this location trying to restock my Caudalie toner spray the first time i came in they were out of stock, a Beauty advisor told me to come back this week to purchase as they will be getting more on truck. I came back on Saturday with my father and went in just for this specific product and noticed they were still out of stock of and we were immediately approached by a manager or LP I believe who’s name is greg. Greg then made a comment that i have been getting watched on cameras the last 2 times ive come in. He was very rude and unprofessional and aggressive. Left me confused on what the issue was as i only came in to check for a restock, which i was told to come in this day by the employee. The cashier then rudely stated "why dont you go to an another location, if you want this product so bad". I immediately left and started to shop in kohls finding nothing I wanted. When i left kohls i was pulled over by 3 cop cars, stating we are no longer welcomed at sephora kohls location in Newburgh Alleging making inappropriate comments towards a minor female that made her feel uncomfortable, that never happened. Also was described to the officers as 3 "hispanic" males, racially profiling us. This is ridiculous im a gay male that felt profiled and felt unwelcome as i simply wanted to restock a product i faithfully use. I then found out sephora doesnt hire minors. As they lied to the officers about us making inappropriate comments to a female minor. I will never support kohls or sephora company ever again. Ive heard way too many situations about employees throughout different sephora locations. DO BETTER management needs to change they couldve handled everything so much professionally.

The females that work at the Newburgh location are not accommodating at all. The store is dirty, unorganized and it’s hardly stocked with products. I’ve shopped on different occasions and it’s always the same pathetic answer and customer service. Management needs to change!!!!!

Today was my first time at sephora and it went amazing. I was helped by karla who was very helpful and friendly and helped me picked out a cologne. She knew her stuff and offered her opinions on which cologne she thought was best for. that experience will definitely have me coming back!!

Karla at this location is one of the most rudest people I’ve ever encountered at Sephora. I was testing the samples to make sure I shade match myself properly she came over and grilled me didn’t even ask if I needed help. She then made sure she stayed nearby me as if I’m stealinggggg.Then she was about to leave the register and she saw me coming to go to the next girl and she made sure she told the girl to leave so she can cash me out.She refused to do my return because I didn’t have my receipt although I’m a member and it can be found on my membership and then to put the Cherry on top she snatched my freaking card from my hand and processed the payment then slid my bag across the counter.I don’t know what that girls problem is with me but it’s unacceptable.
