My family has had an account with this bank for years, since First Niagara left. My teenage son started his first job and wants to save up for a vehicle; so I opened an account for him; I was told because of his age that he could not have his own account but could be attached to mine with his own account number and card. We went into the branch to deposit his savings into the account and to set up direct deposit, everything was all set, or so we thought. A week later my son looked in his account to find a zero balance and was contacted by his employer, which informed him that they could not direct deposit due to an issue from Key Bank and would have to issue a paper check. After my husband contacted the branch, he was hung up on and passed on to 8 different employees who could not explain why they took his money out of the account. Finally one employee stated that the account was on a hold because they needed my husbands ID to verify the account. Where does this make since? I’ve never known a bank to set up an account without an ID; sounds like someone made a mistake and is buying time to not get caught, meanwhile my son has no access to his money and we have no answers as of yet. We’ll probably be looking for a better trustworthy bank.

If you’re part of the LGBTQ+ community, I definitely recommend this one. Anita the teller made me feel at ease and comfortable, as well as answered all my questions as I just switched to this bank. You’ve got my business for sure!

Payment made from checking account on time on the credit card due date. The money came out of checking account immediately. 3 days later Key applies a late fee and moves the payment to that day. When questioning Key about this I’m told that I need to take Key Bank processing times into consideration and since I made the payment after a certain time (multiple times of day were stated) it wouldn’t apply til the next business day. So even though my due date was the 24th and I made payment on the 24th, I am penalized because of delays in their system! This is not stated anywhere in the payment screens before or after payments are made. Might be time to take a look at another bank, this is absurd!!! Nickel and dining customers for fees trying to steal their money! How many people do they do this to that don’t see it!?!?

I just today was at the Key Bank on Niagara Falls Boulevard to deposit a check. The teller window line was long but that is understandable for a Friday. I just don't understand why all the tellers are yakking to each other instead of waiting on customers. It was so loud in there that, you would have thought it was a bar you are in instead of a professional service facility. This is not a very professional way for KeyBank to be. The line could move along much better and faster if the manager wasn't just hiding over in his corner and not paying attention to what the tellers were doing. Obviously, the branch manager doesn't really look and see what is going on with the tellers. KeyBank management truly needs to shape that Branch up so it is a professional banking environment.

The branch on Niagara Falls Boulevard has the best customer service I have ever encountered one of the things I really love was how helpful each member was throughout the bank and How bright everyone's faces were. one of the best things that I really enjoyed was how friendly all the staff members were and how my problems were resolved with no frustration. could not have picked a better location and will only visit that location

Worst keybank branch I've ever been to. Line was out the door, tellers were rude and there was no organization. They didn't even provide an envelope for my transaction. Absolute worst experience I've ever had with a bank. Will definitely go with another company in the future.
